My world civilization professor was telling the class about Israel one day. He said that their military training is taken ridiculously seriously, more than most other countries. The reason being that they are surrounded by potential enemies and have such a small landmass; a single defeat in battle could mean the end of Israel forever. Unlike UN peacekeeping forces and whatnot, Israel actually fights for national survival every time their boots hit the ground.
Yeah there is a lot of reason behind it.
Even thou Israel might have a mighty ego, and people get pissed when they see a kids head sticking out of the ground at a bombed building. And people calling Israel assholes due the hole Ship to Gaza ordeal ect. But no one is blaming factions like Hamaz, it's a lot like mw3 vs bf3 pick your bandwagon.

Those facts are bullshit, i guess they are trying to show the Cast Lead operations, offical numbers from Israel is 300civlians killed of wich some were hamas police, Human rights group say around 700civilians died. So it depends on who you ask.

Ok what you just said isn't even comprehensible, and yes the attack on the ships was unnecessary. The only thing on those ships were supplies for the people in need at gaza, and also medical personell and journalists. No guns. Yet several civilians and journalists were killed or captured, and held in israel against their will. Who the hell keeps innocent people from abroad prisoners.
We should just nuke Israel and give palestine back their land.

One of the ships contained weapons. I can attest to that, as a guy who had seen them personally.
Israel navy forces suffered major injuries due to them coming unarmed besides pistols. Terror groups stood on the ship, clear as crystal, and beat the shit out of the troops who decended from the helicopters rope.
2ndly, Israel has to attack these ships in order to maintain peace. Terror groups are everywhere, so Israel must stop everyship like that in order to stop threats like that. Kids die on buses and houses get bombed on Shderot daily. You never get to hear about that side of the news. Israel is friendly, and didn't harm anybody on the 2nd ship. People make a fuss on the news, to fuck Israel. Israel on the otherside, due to it's lack of organization, never got media coverage on the ship with the weapons.
In the end, both sides are wrong. But, because terror groups will never backdown, you can't just give up and give them what they want. Even if we do surrender land, terror groups will never rest until we're not around. Agressive actions must be taken in order to maintain peace. Bombings in Gaza are responses to acts of terror. It's pretty known that those groups use general population as walls of defence. This isn't a one sided war, trust me.

I'm going to make my position clear right now: The existence of Israel, in my mind, was counter productive, should never have happened, and is a problem. I also am very much opposed to Israel's heavy religious leanings in the state, and illegal occupation, outright wrong use of force, removal of people from their land and homes, discrimination, and war crimes.
But I do not support the violent elimination of Israel, any wars against it, terrorism against civilians, the violent extremist groups who attack it, or immediately just making it disappear.
I'm just saying that Israel is unjustified in much that it does, and in its formation, but that violence is not the answer. I think we're too far gone to just remove the nation. I think coexistence is best now.
