Not running at the moment but the day after this post might have some luck. Recently replaced the fuel pump, water pump, and going to replace the starter and a power steering line. theres a photos of your cars thread for a reason :v: But nontheless, nice car! Is it TBI or carbed?
Clean, but yeah we have a thread or two devoted to this exact type of thread. :v: How much did you pick it up for?
It's carbed, and yeah sorry about the wrong thread haha new guy. This was my uncles, so he's handing it down to me. It's been sitting for a few years and you can see he took awesome care of it while he used it. Put in about 80 dollars for it so far, hopefully that will be about it, need to save some for the little things in the car. [editline]20th July 2013[/editline] The inside was absolute hell too. Mice were getting in and nesting in it, so all the insulation behind the cover panels is gone and got moved under the seats and such. Had a lot of fun vacuuming and scrubbing the carpet for many hours. I still have to do it again and then scrub the panels, ceiling, and sides, and then clean up around inside the dash and in the air conditioning vents.
Damn, lucky bastard.
Lucky indeed. First car too, so extra lucky on that one. Would have been my sisters but I was the one smart enough to actually do something about fixing it up.
