Can't wait to finish my engine build! It's been way too long since I started it. Feels good to be almost done, gives me more motivation.
I hope shes ok, or at least will be. I also hear an ATM beeping in the background.
She'll live, but she wasn't doing so hot. Probable neck injury, blood from her nose and mouth, and maybe a broken elbow. Awake and talking, though. 89 years old.
How did the womans get on the ground to begin with?
Struck by the toyota behind her.

What do you want, a medal?
What do you want, a medal?
Yes please. Maybe a cooked bratwurst would be nice.
Has anyone here even dealt with freight? Doing some research it supposedly doubles the price if you have it delivered residential? Other people suggest getting it delivered to some sort of shipping center? Two people could easily lift the pallet up into a truck. I don't want to turn this into a $1,500 ordeal.

And they will either forklift it into the back of your truck or will drop the palet off a loading dock or on the ground for you. (southeastern)
God dammit. :hairpull: I torqued down cylinder #1 rod bolt to spec, moves great. Did #2. Engine wont move. Undo #2, moves great. Bolt down #6. Moves great. Bolt down #5. Still smooth. Bolt down #2 again, seized. WTF. Swap the #2 rod bearing with the #4. #2 moves great, #4 is stuck. :hammered:
New thread, new car, new guns. It's a decent week, this week.

Do the rods and caps have machining? Are they .020 under or something?

(southeastern)
I guess I'll have to call up HMotors and see what they suggest, since they've bent over backwards for me just for some shitty used suspension eating the full cost and profit entirely just to make me happy they should be able to help me out really. I've just never dealt with freight before. Emailed the wiring guy I got my engine harness from, picked out a full set of "tune up" parts from Rockauto to do while it's out. By the end of this month I should have a fresh motor on it's way! I'll have to get my ECU chipped or grab a vtec P28 to really use it but my P06 should get it running perfectly fine.
On the subject as to what i should get I've decided on the Subaru BRZ, nicer inside than the 86, the Taco doesn't have real 4wd or a solid front axle so is it really a truck? And you can get a frontier in 4x4 manual but it has to be the crew cab and why would I want a four door. I definitely agree with the not wanting to be cliche and get a mustang, especially having to defend that the 4 banger makes only 70 less hp than the veeeayte despite being less than half the displacement v:v:v
Only took six years but I finally got all the parts to connect to my ECU. Now to track down why it burns so rich.....

Personally, I think the frontier would have been a solid one as well but if you don't like Crew Cabs, I can get that. I'm biased since it'd be my Xterra but with a bed, but I think I'd like it.
It's not crazy if it works right?
Generally putting diesel in a Camry is pretty crazy, yes.
ha it took me like 10 minutes to do that in gran turismo
RhinoPower technologies is a dick. Originally they had the software for free and the schematics for the dongle, which was basically a duplexer,, some transistors and an FTDI USB to serial chip. Previous to his USB design there was an older design that let you interface using RS-232 but it was a really scary design and you needed a very specific USRT on your serial port for it to work. Then he added the option to buy a prebuilt adapter for $100. Then the schematics got "shuffled around" and you had to navigate elsewhere on the site that was slightly hidden to find them. Then he removed support for classic RS-232 interface adapters, so you HAD to use his FTDI design. Then he removed the schematics for his adapter Then he began fucking with the firmware on the FTDI so his software only worked with his dongle. Then he started asking something like $50 for the software, because he updated it again and now it had "suzuki-proprietary features that I had to pay to get access to." Basically ended up having to track down the last version of the software before he gimped everything and hunting down the rest of the parts to make it all work as a way to say "hey buddy. Go fuck yourself."

There doesn't seem to be any machining on them. These are just stock rods with stock bearings.
