Early Saturday morning, a deputy with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office spotted the 18-year-old Illinois woman’s car in a ditch off Route 71. “Upon further investigation,” the cop determined that Ornelas “was driving with no right front tire and was extremely intoxicated.”

While missing a screening of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I” can, understandably, put a fan into a tailspin, Ornelas’s excuse did not fly with cops, who charged her with DUI and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

The utterly disparaging thing is the writing isn't even good. It's actually bad. Really fucking bad. Poor prose, cliche situations, mary sue tropes and retarded character development. <- I gathered that from briefly flicking through the first book. It reads like really bad fanfic sex fantasy.
If what I've heard of the sequels is true, then it just gets worse.

With videogames the tendency is to argue that they cause long-term dramatic changes in behaviour, as opposed to the short term burst of emotion from the lack of experiencing Twilight.
I don't think anyone argued that the South Korean killing over a stolen virtual item wasn't the result of video games.
That being said, I do believe that video games can change behaviour in the same way that any other kind of media can.
