Oh, it's this thread again. (sorry I'm making another thread, I wanted to discuss the beatles because I don't see a lot of threads about them anymore.)
Who are The Beatles?
The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960, who are often recognized as the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed act in popular music.
Consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, only 2 are left, which are Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
Why are they so widely known?
Being as they made the best songs ever, I would see why. Having 27 songs being #1 on American Charts, they were as famous as the President himself. Lennon, who was most known out of The Beatles, was shot and killed on December 8th, 1980, in New York City.
The reason I'm bring up The Beatles is because so many kids these days are all of a sudden listening to them, and acting like they know everything about them. I see 14 year olds roaming the streets with it blasting and then it switches to some idiotic rap song. They really don't know what real music is.
The Beatles, is what real music is.
Post your favorite songs from them
Mine is Hey Jude.
Helter Skelter
You know there is a Music section with a very active thread about the Beatles

All I know is Ringo has the best laugh ever.
I'm not into old hippie boy bands.
We have a music section.

I know. This is to discuss on why people are all of a sudden just getting into them.
I love how the OP ignores the two people that were also in the band.
What..?
Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best.
The Beatles are great and all, but I like The Who more.

So would you rather they didn't listen to The Beatles at all? At least they're listening to them.
That stance isn't very 'Peace and Love'.

Because it's 'hip' and 'trendy' to do so.
Making a thread that already exists and also putting it in the wrong section. Looks like a grand start to The First 11'ers career.

"My music tastes are far to sophisticated for one of the twentieth century's most important and influential bands."
More like: "My music tastes are far to sophisticated for one of the twentieth century's most important and influential bands, like Justin Bieber and Kanye West."
Listen to Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
Yes.
Overrated.
Historic? Yes. But to be honest there is much more imaginative and impressive music around these days.
