Hey facepunch, i was there, wandering on my college PC, when i tought of something.
I have a friend (Well, not really a friend but someone i know) which is a Jehova's witnesses. He told me that his religion told him not to self-satisfy himself (Masturbate) or have sex without being married. At first I was like ''Hahaha, yeah'' But he told be that he was following this rule, and that he would not break it.
So i am thinking, does anyone of you have those restrictions? What do you think of the religion when it come to sexuality & relationship?
Personally, I am catholics, and I believe in things, but thinks 90% of what i was told about my religion is pretty much bullshit. When it come to sex, i think that it has nothing to do with religion, and that those who say that i'll go in hell if i fap, well, i tell them to got to hell themselves!

Way I see it, if God minded most of the stuff humans do, the whole "Jesus-dying-for-our-sins" thing would be pretty much redundant.

Why is that so? Isn't religion something is what YOU believe? If you are forced in a religion, then it's not a belief. Everybody on earth has a different religion, because in ourlseves, we all believe in something that the others don't. I will believe in what i want and call it a religion if i want. I call myself a Catholics that does not believe in stupid rules. If your god tell you ''Kill yourself'' will you be called ''non-religious'' because you want to be alive for a couple more years?

A religion is a group of people believing the same thing. I don't mind you calling yourself catholic but you should at least respect the rules of your religion if you want to be part of it, even if you don't follow all of them.
I respect all of them actually, but i think that some of them should not exist, since they make the religion looking bad. But the respect is there, my grand-mother used to take me each sunday at the church and i learned them, but still, nobody will tell me what to believe in.
Personnally, if someone tells me don't do something, I obviously troll and do it :v:

In theory if god didn't want us to have sex without being married wouldn't he make it so we couldn't?
I'm a Christian, and I believe in Sex before Marriage. I wouldn't want to run around and have sex with most women, I think it's a private thing that is better off kept in a relationship.

Sex has been around much longer than religion, it is far more widespread, therefore religion has no impact upon it. Go and have sex all you like!
