I mostly watched this for the song... why not just become an actual trucker instead of playing this game for hundreds of hours?

Because the game doesn't require certain licences and doesn't care if you have a horrific accident.

Well the player was constantly speeding and hitting other cars so I guess this makes sense. Becoming a trucker also takes a while.
Heard a friend of mine saying this game is surprisingly relaxing sometimes, he puts on some music and just drives all the time around delivering shit.
That game looks really relaxing
What's up with being able to drive on the wrong side of the road and still get good scores tho :v:

Why play Flight Simulator when you could just become a real pilot!
-snip-
So this is the new need for speed

Why play Battlefield 3 when you could wear blue-tinted sunglasses and visit Iraq

Actually, there are so called "truckers" who are so fucking stressed out so they pretty much drive like this today...
honestly games like these are perfect for the occulous rift goggles. would be very relaxing to play.

And then have it control real trucks, people could work from home driving trucks. Would be cool.

Until you went into a tunnel and lost connection.
One of my favourite games if I'm completely honest. Plowing down the motorway with Smooth radio on is mint.

I read that as accent, and i was like "thats also true"
This game is the new Halo at my school, everyone plays this game on their laptops during class :v:
Its also amazing game for making bets.

becoming a trucker doesn't take near the money or time required to get a pilot's license, at least in the states. i have no idea what the cdl equivalent takes in europe.
and trucking is a mostly boring job anyways. being a pilot is at least interesting. driving truck is basically like driving a car for hours and hours, at least from the perspective of a screen.
i don't see the appeal of it at all. if you have such a passion for trucking that you would spend hours playing this game, just go for a cdl instead. that way you can at least make money doing something interesting.
