(CNN) – A feature length documentary about Hillary Clinton, commissioned by CNN Films, has been canceled after the director cited lack of cooperation from people associated with the former secretary of state. Charles Ferguson, director of the film, made the announcement Monday morning in an item on The Huffington Post where he also described pressure placed on him by various people to try an dissuade him from moving forward with the project. "After painful reflection, I decided that I couldn't make a film of which I would be proud," Ferguson wrote. "And so I'm canceling. (Not because of any pressure from CNN - quite the contrary.)"
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/09/30/cnn-hillary-clinton-film-canceled
canceled after the director cited lack of cooperation from people associated with the former secretary of state
That is strange, wonder if they were going to be a bit more prying than I thought.
I think the Clintons realized the movie would have more potential for harm than promotion.
Oh well... back to publishing another 'top seller' paperback
