some heavily WIP drum n bass, my first try at something that isnt 140 bpm or below, comments?
(it's very quiet as well, so you'll have to turn up your speakers - i couldn't be bothered to turn up the EQ after editing it)

I like the breakbeat feel of the drum programming, but I feel like the sound of the drums is just a bit too thin. I can hear it well, but the kick doesn't have enough thump and the snare doesn't have quite enough bang. The breaks you have sound like they would work well as they are if you layered a slightly more processed or compressed kick and snare (or compress the ones you already have if you already have a "main" kick and snare aside from the breaks).
If you have any trouble with the kick interfering with the sub, then do a little sidechaining.
The drums lack flow. There are way too many gaps in between each kick and snare hit. Try adding more bass to the bassline and speed the song up to about 165-170. Your song also lacks pads/effects.
Other than that it's pretty decent.
i like the drums. add a bit more decay on them though, they sound too gappy.
