and now

People who abuse animals are the most infuriating thing I can think of.
Poor god damn dog man, I hope it will recover one day.
That was incredibly heartbreaking. I can't imagine how anyone could hurt a dog, let alone anything, to an extent to cause this kind of fear.

People we used to call psychopaths but now has some very lengthy diagnosis.
The same kind of people who abuse children.
People who belong in padded cells.
:(

I don't trust that title of yours
ohhhh fuck. I've seen this one before.
Dogs tend to be extremely sweet creatures, to get one in a state like this you'd have to go out of your way
After watching this I had to go and cuddle my dog.
don't know if it's possible to embed facebook videos but the dog seems to be doing much better now. https://www.facebook.com/monica.mitreanu/videos/728950990571513/
The rage I feel is blinding right now. Anyone who abuses dogs are scum of the earth.

fixed
Girlfriend's dog was a rescue, previous owner left him chained in the garage 24/7. Don't even know why you'd get a dog if you're just going to literally make its life miserable.
Poor dude would just wait by the garage door, shaking, expecting to be put out there like it was all he knew. After he was de-wormed and allowed inside he would inhale food and hide. It took several days but after a while they were able to get him to jump on the couch with them. They held him close and petted him and kept him warm, and then he just let out this huge -sigh- of what they could only guess was relief.
Then he fell asleep and promptly secured his place as pampered king of the miniature poodles within the week.
I have never seen such a level of anguish and terror in an animal in my entire life, that's just beyond fucked.
that fucking noise. holy shit. shit i've heard from horror movies doesn't even come close to this
i'd like to hear whoever put the dog through that make the same kind of sound
my ex would hurt her dog all the time by pinning it down and twisting his ears until he cried. She told me it was to punish him. I've never been so angry.
Well.......i'm crying.

hope you reported the bitch.

I imagine that was a notable factor in why she's your ex.
I read somewhere that this dog was not abused for years but was rather a stray dog who has had no interaction with humans in it's entire life, which would make sense if that is true since there is no visible damage.

Don't know about that, a stray would have been more violent. That right there was just pure absolute terror.

Psychological damage isn't visible, and abuse comes in countless forms.
My cousin adopted a previously abused dog that had spent most of its life left alone in a room. She's now the most needy and affectionate dog ever. She's completely obsessed with cuddling to the point where she'll come up to you and nuzzle your hands for hours just to get some contact. She also loves to sit on your lap and will try to do so frequently, which can be a problem seeing as she's a massive border collie.
Great
I get to start the new years with a broken heart
i've had a dog like this whose previous owner had been abusive, it was a good dog but it was so traumatised that it couldn't help lashing out at people, had to have it put down eventually after it bit someone :(
people who treat animals like this are fucked
My dog is a rescue dog as well, her previous owner had her and her brother chained up in the backyard. I think she has separation anxiety, she starts barking and going crazy when we leave the house, even if just to put the trash out and we're in plain view.
Why would anyone do that to another living being? :(
What's with the back legs of the dog and the really high pitched shrieking?

If this is right, it sort of reminds me of the case of a girl who was raised in virtual isolation and ended up having the same fucked up legs and high pitched voice as the dog in the video.

this made my whole day better seeing the transition. this should be put in the OP so people don't feel terrible after seeing the first video

The dog calmed down near the end of the video so it starts out a lot rougher.
This is still horribly heartbreaking though. I have a soft spot for dogs. I could never imagine myself seeing any animal go through this without crying in person.

I checked the woman's facebook page, and the dog seems to be doing really well as of a few days ago.
I am kinda of confuse why is it yelping is it fear or was it so abused that even petting hurts it or both? but anyways this makes me want to get a rescue puppy
i cant fucking watch this what the fuck this is so absolutely heartbreaking

pretty sure touching the dog at all would be off-limits to absolutely anyone if pain was the case, provided this dog was kept in a humane kennel of sorts for the duration of that video
