"Experts" reject Guru living 70 years without food.
Australian experts have strongly disputed an Indian man's claim that he has gone without food and water for almost 70 years.
Prahlad Jani, 82, caused a sensation two weeks ago when he declared he was nourished by a Hindu "spiritual life force" and did not need to eat or drink.
His claim was lent credibility when doctors at an Indian military institute said they had spent 15 days observing Mr Jani not eat, drink or pass anything so much as urine.
But nutrition experts say Mr Jani’s story is tough to swallow.
Go figure, Einstein.
:pseudo:
Pffft. I want in on the secret.
He was blessed by a Goddess, I think I read.
That is just crazy, there is no way that is possible...
Unless he was a alien from out of space then probably.
What would we do without the experts.
Hindu is true religion!
He could have a self sustaining bacteria that provide him energy inside his body.

Where would the bacteria get the energy from?
Indians aren't very good with numbers, they could mean 15 minutes instead of 15 days, or 3 months instead of 70 years. He's probably only 22.
i love the experts, they always disagree. go experts!!!!
Try to do it then, faggots, get Buddha on your shitty labs without food for six months

He's a Hindu, dumbass. Two totally different religions.

Some Hindus belive in Jesus, it is a mix of a lot religions. It is not unlikly that some belive in Buddha
Not surprised. Anyone who believes this is retarded.

well that answers the question
I'm pretty sure children are smart enough to reject the idea of a man living 70 years off of Hindu spiritual energy.
Well, unless those children were Hindu and believed that sort of thing.
No not really, examinations and scientific tests prove other wise.
The human body can survive quite easily for 2 weeks, so if he has a slower than average metabolism then he could do it for longer.
No not really, examinations and scientific tests prove other wise.
And the laws of thermodynamics says yet otherwise. And I'm afraid the fundamental laws of reality exceed whatever shoddy medical tests have supposedly been performed.
There is no way to exert energy and not expend it, full stop.

What a preposterous test. If you're going to see if a guy can survive without food, you'd think they'd pick a time frame within which he would most definitely die. Say, a month or two.
15 fucking days is not fucking proof. Either these scientists are retards or they aren't scientists.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed.

That's my way of saying I thought he was a fraud too.

That has nothing to do with the subject. The problem is that they're saying he has some sort of limitless magic energy source inside of him.
And if he really does I say we plug the fucker into a battery and clone him to solve the energy crisis.

Yup, looks 22
some sort of limitless magic energy source inside of him.

That's directly related to my post. It's impossible to have limitless energy without somehow gaining the energy you use in the first place.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed.

He looks like an indian Shaggy with a fake beard.

Agreed, the guy says he can live for 70 or so years without food, test him for 3 months.
If he's alive at the end well fuck me sideways and call me a monkeys uncle.

I thought that was matter?

EM radiation if you really want to be a cunt about this.
Sunlight, maybe he's like a plant.

Same thing.

1. Then he would be green.
2. That would produce maybe enough energy for him to wiggle his pinky finger ever two hours.
Same thing.
It's both. Matter and energy can be converted from one to the other, but can never be destroyed or created.
