The new record goes to Windows 7. What's this mean? People are actually going out to buy Windows 7 instead of waiting for their next PC to upgrade, sure. But what's this really mean? Technology is more powerful than magic. Software is the new spell, and the laptop is the new spellbook. Magic may have banished dragons from the Earth, but it can't do your taxes or upload your photos to the web. Man has reached the new era, an era when science triumphs mysticism, when digital truth arrives to answer all of our nagging, analog questions. Deus ex machina, motherfucker.
Um. Yay? XP is still functional and Vista isn't that bad. What's new about 7 that makes it so high in demand? I haven't been paying attention.
That article could have been 60% shorter. Who says magic can't pay the taxes, I'd make my own money :smug:
Got my copy today, I really like the new taskbar.
I think this means that Microsoft really fucked up.
I think this means that Microsoft really fucked up.
Because they made so much money?!
Windows 7 deserves nothing compared to Harry Potter.
Got my copy today, I really like the new taskbar.
The new taskbar for me makes it hard for me to notice when someone sends me a message on steam :P Still it aint bad.
I prefer having a decent built PC than having a harry potter book.
I'd much rather get Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows then Windows 7
This just in
Windows 7 beats Bible sales

I'd much rather get Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows then Windows 7
Why the ? It makes you look like an asshole [editline]08:38PM[/editline] Besides, who still gives a shit about Hairy Potter anyway
I laughed at the last line of the article.
This just in
Windows 7 beats Bible sales

That'd be something
That'd be something
good job you win the "cause the biggest shitstorm in a thread by derail" 2009 award
The new taskbar for me makes it hard for me to notice when someone sends me a message on steam :P Still it aint bad.
How can you not see the bright flashing yellow light?
I am constantly surprised that there are still people who use XP and others who don't like Windows 7. I gotta look around outside the W7 thread...
Um. Yay? XP is still functional and Vista isn't that bad. What's new about 7 that makes it so high in demand? I haven't been paying attention.
Because it's !!!!!!*NEW*!!!!!!. Everyone wants the newest thing, even if the old thing is better/working fine already.
good job you win the "cause the biggest shitstorm in a thread by derail" 2009 award
Like any thread in news with the word "bible" in it stays on topic, ever.
Um. Yay? XP is still functional and Vista isn't that bad. What's new about 7 that makes it so high in demand? I haven't been paying attention.
It's what Vista was supposed to be, an upgrade from XP.
What's new about 7 that makes it so high in demand? I haven't been paying attention.
You only need your internet driver, game specifications require the same as XP does (not the double like Vista).
It's 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.
Windows 7 deserves nothing compared to Harry Potter.
1. Anime Avatar 2. 'i' prefix on username. 3. An unhelathly love of Harry Potter and/or dislike of Microsoft. Conclusion? [sp]fage ass goo WAIT NO BAD MONK ROLL BACK ROLL BACK TO A SAFE PLACE[/sp] Dumbass. (User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - mm3guy))
Um. Yay? XP is still functional and Vista isn't that bad. What's new about 7 that makes it so high in demand? I haven't been paying attention.
Because everyone likes 7.
Getting my copy tomorrow or whenever it gets delivered. I ordered it 3 months ago, so it better get here.
When I got 7 I wasn't impressed, It was pretty nice... A little more polished than Windows XP, but I am keeping XP on my main computer as I am really used to it. Oh, and this isn't really news.... Who pre-orders books and they can just pick it up at a book store and skip shipping and handling?
I might buy a Windows 7 Upgrade in the near future. not only does it help stuff run faster, but it's also more compatible with older games. I could actually play the original AVP without having to download custom compatibility mods! but a final decision is on hold...
That was one of the best articles i've ever read.
This is not comparable in my opinion. And why would you pre-order Harry Potter?
Not a surprise.
