Ya didn't search did ya
Ya didn't search did ya
I searched 'Struxnet' since that's what I thought it was called, but then after I posted the thread I watched the video and realized my mistake, so I quickly edited the title before someone posted. So, I did search. Sorry for lateness.
The fact that it's open source is a lie, also it only used four zero-days, not twenty-something.
Stuxnet: AKA the reason your national facilities should be on a CLOSED CIRCUIT LAN NETWORK FOR FUCKS SAKE
Stuxnet is a weapon, simple.
Stuxnet: AKA the reason your national facilities should be on a CLOSED CIRCUIT LAN NETWORK FOR FUCKS SAKE
To add to that, the cold war is over. There is no current risk of the surface getting nuked and cockblocking radio comms. You don't need the internet for all of your government communications now in the event of WW3. And since when did a nuclear reactor need to be able to access 4chan anyway? It seems dumb to give those internet access, which it will never need. The internet is a convenience, and a security hole in the 21'st century. Just because some abroad country wasn't hacking you 70 years ago when this whole internet thing was new doesn't mean they can't now. Use radio, or have your comms network separated 100% from the control system's network.
