Okay, seriously... Does having the name Rick mean you HAVE to be a crazy right winger?
Vision America’s Rick Scarborough is continuing his campaign to link the Tea Party with the Religious Right, telling a Texas tea party group that God is responsible for the creation of America. According to Scarborough, who Politico reports is being actively courted by leading Republican presidential candidates, an unbiased study of history indisputably reveals that only God’s supernatural intervention led the colonies to win the War of Independence. Anyone who studies this history closely and fairly, without bias, has to come to this conclusion that the only way a country like the colonies of America can defeat the strongest military power on the face of the earth was by God’s intervention.

does this mean he's fine with the native americans behind raped and murdered or something if in fact america was created for god-fearing white men
does this mean he's fine with the native americans behind raped and murdered or something if in fact america was created for god-fearing white men
Naturally.
'Cause it's not like North America was inhabited before Europeans got there or anything, right guys?
Uh it's pretty much gonna be standard beliefs among Christians in America that God wanted us to have it wouldn't it?
Uh it's pretty much gonna be standard beliefs among Christians in America that God wanted us to have it wouldn't it?
I thought it was greed that made people want it...
I thought it was powerful European countries who made it...
I thought it was powerful European countries who made it...
That. AND GREED!
The real reason we have the USA today is because of Guerrilla warfare. The British didn't know the land, but the colonists mastered it, using that, we dominated them. if you don't know that, your kinda... 'ignorant'.
does this mean he's fine with the native americans behind raped and murdered or something if in fact america was created for god-fearing white men
God did it!
I do know that even those who are not passionate about Muhammad are passionate their understanding that God gave us this land. Anyone who studies this history closely and fairly, without bias, has to come to this conclusion that the only way groups like the Taliban and Al Qaeda can continue to give significant trouble to the strongest military power on the face of the earth is by God’s intervention.
Works both ways there, bucko.
I lost it at
an unbiased study of history indisputably reveals that only God’s supernatural intervention led the colonies to win the War of Independence.
USA has the best comedians.
USA has the best comedians.
Sadly, they aren't the ones who wrote that.
I lost it at USA has the best comedians.
Stopped at "Supernatural".
indisputably reveals that only God’s supernatural intervention led the colonies to win the War of Independence.
So yeah, the French are God apparently.
These evangelical guys, uggh. Their warped notion of history and humanity in general never ceases to confuse me.
does this mean he's fine with the native americans behind raped and murdered or something if in fact america was created for god-fearing white men
I don't know what to think about people in 2011 still believing in manifest destiny oh wait I do, it's disgust
How can such stupid people have power in that country?
How can such stupid people have power in that country?
Stupider followers.
Uh it's pretty much gonna be standard beliefs among Christians in America that God wanted us to have it wouldn't it?
I think it's more like. "Er.. Just, eh... Take this piece of land... herd all the crazies into one pen, two birds with one stone, you know."
or perhaps maybe it was the fact that the colonists knew the terrain better, and were fighting for their own freedom. an objective study of history also shows that people fighting for their own freedom in their own country very rarely are defeated, especially not in the face of a foreign, militarily superior power, ie the war in vietnam the point of this post was to highlight the fact that rick scarbourough is a stupid moron
the point of this post was to highlight the fact that rick scarbourough is a stupid moron
How many people arent idiots when they show up as a headline in Sensationalist Headlines.
Has he even taken high school history?
This piece of paper says it's my land. And this very sharp tomahawk says it isn't.
This is some AP American History shit right here, I'll be using these cold hard facts on all of my essays.
Okay, seriously... Does having the name Rick mean you HAVE to be a crazy right winger?
No.
No, America was created because a bunch of rich old white people were pissed the fuck off about how much their tea was taxed. Also, genocide of the people who already lived here.
If by god he means France I guess he's right.
