Yes, it actually aired like this
What were they even doing? Was it like some test runs or something that wasn't supposed to be on air? Or did the director have massive OCD and wanted the perfect intro [editline] edit [/editline] Quote from the video:
BBC News had some sort of system breakage that caused the queued videos to play in rapid (and sometimes broken) succession.
At times it reminds me of those crazy Indian soap operas
this is like a youtube poop lmao
love it when the people in the back realize what's happening around 2:30
this is an actual youtube poop come to life, I wish I'd witnessed it live
The accidental comedic timing... this proves it. There must be a God.
Honestly just feels like a Vic Berger video
It's pretty cool to see actually, you only ever see the presenters when they are giving the story, it is interesting to see what they do off air (even if it is as boring as researching the stories and taking notes).
Damn if he doesn't snap into delivering the news. Professional as fuck.
this was a spiritual experience just watching Huw Edwards
Looks like the BBC posted their own video of it.
At times it reminds me of those crazy Indian soap operas
That background music with the sound of the bells just make it even more hilarious.
Finally some news worth watching
I think this is still my favorite compilation of BBC fuckups:
BBC Creepypasta I tried to switch off the TV but it just kept playing the breaking news sound!!!! and then a hyper realistic presenter stayed on the screen doing nothing, just staring!!!
Oh my god these are fucking slaying me with the sound effect paired with the editing this is like a fucking final boss intro at the beginning
This is obligatory for whenever these posts come up, its just too fucking ridiculous
I'd have easily believed you if you told me this was the BBC doing a meta-commentary on the state of modern news as being nothing but alarming intros and headlines with context-less clips in rapid succession, followed by vapid nothingness designed to look important without actually being so. Instead a technical glitch created art.
I think this is still my favorite compilation of BBC fuckups:
This has always been my favourite, especially the last one.
Man, BBC News has a pretty solid opening theme, I had no idea. Not as good as The Mission, but still pretty good. Sounds like something out of Deus Ex.
