Hope you all like it, I'm in love. I think I'm gonna have dreams of the ocean or of me swimming because of the blue. The smell of the paint is a little much, and my dog vomited and shit on the floor :(
I also need posters to hang up. Any ideas on posters to use?

The painting is done. I must say for myself, it looks awesome. A hell of a lot better than it was before. I'm gonna put my furniture back together and tidy it up some time later today. I'm so glad I go to get a new color. Stay tuned.

So I went to Home Depot and stopped to look at some paint colors. I decided to go with the Blue Chaise shade. Of course, the online photo may look different depending on your monitor calibration. I think it's very nice. And I'm only permitted one color anyway. Think it'll look good, FP?

So my family is painting around the house, and they're letting me paint mine as well. I've been wanting to change my wall color ever since I moved into this room. It reminds me of cat vomit and is just ugly. I would think a bluish color would do well since it will match my bed frame, curtains, carpet, and the hanging blanket. I just can't decide on a shade to use for it. I'm still open to other colors if suggested. So FP, what color should I choose?
Also, the sheet on my bed is only temporary, my real sheets are black.

Having your walls only blue will make your room seem smaller. You should go for a lightblue and white combination IMO.
Buy several large water guns, fill them all with different paints and tie them together.

By combination do you mean literally mix lightblue with white?
No, don't mix. Combinate them like have the upper part of your wall white and the lower part blue or have white decorations on it like these except white:

Black and orange trash bags duct taped to the wall in a checkerboard pattern
Be abstract and heavily on expression (throw all the paint on the wall)
I can only do at most (if I'm lucky) two colors, and it has to be simple lol

Dirty Clothes -> Hamper/Laundry Chute
Clean Clothes -> Appropriately placed in dresser
Limit food in room
Trashcan accessible from space most commonly occupied
Vacuum Floor, Dust Furniture, and Wash Sheets Weekly

My walls are a mix of black and purple that was applied to pressign paint-covered garbage bags to my wall and letting it dry.

Almost all the color names can be swapped with on-another and still make sense. I'd be more honest for them to name them different shades of blue.
I'm thinking about changing my room's color also, possibly blue, but good luck on paint.
Paint 2 walls Madras blue, and make 2 walls a cream color.

Actually 2 walls are already relatively creamish. So just use your artistic instinct and select 2 walls to paint. I'm being absolutely serious. It'll look great, both my parents are artists and my dad used to be an architect and we've done the same thing with our walls.

Go 2 shades lighter; you won't regret it. Has something to do with the light, but if you get the paint that is 2 shades lighter than what you pick, then it will be the color you were actually imagining

Maybe it was because of the lighting in your specific room?
I painted my own room it turned out pretty nice.
