High-End Glass; Aka ditch the joint and get REALLY high - General

Hey DD, I noticed an absence of postings regarding the wonderful world of high-end, glass-on-glass smoking devices! In light of this, I felt that those of you who don't know much about these things would enjoy learning about this interesting, scientifically-advanced, world. If you aren't from California (which I know most of you aren't) then you most likely are unaware of the current high-end glass scene that's taking the pot industry by storm. What makes the glass 'High-end' is the fact that the glass blowers themselves have been coming out with superior technology year after year. That's right, technological advancement on how to get yourself even higher. The more advanced the system is of breaking up the smoke, the smoother your hit will be. I'll have the glass speak for itself, if you have any questions you'd like to ask, don't hesitate to. I plan on beginning an apprenticeship in blowing glass, so whom better to ask your questions? A lot of people just see glass as glass that i know. I think it's because of the fact that glass breaks. Easily. Especially when you're high. I personally love high end glass, that's all I'll ever buy. A rip from an 18" illy with ashcatcher, doesn't get much better :350:

I'm absolutely in love with nice glass percolator bongs. I've been meaning to get a new piece actually. But sadly it doesn't matter now since I can't smoke for 6 months

I'm in cali and just about everybody who has money has a decent straight-shooter glass bong. Medi-Cali and Delta-9 make some nice ones.

So all I use is joints, and occasionally a pipe. I know nothing of these glass bongs, and I'm really interested. Instead of packing around a gram into a joint and watching it burn away in minutes, I'll pack maybe a .2 gram bowl, snap the whole thing, and get ripped beyond belief.

Hmm, I'm interested in these high-tech devices. How much do they usually run for? I am in California as well.

For $200 you can get a decent glass-on-glass setup, but nothing highly scientific like my Sovereignty Stemline to Gridded 8 arm. That's not even the highest-end, either.

For $500 I could be fucked for an entire summer. I'd rather spend that money on bud and a cheap bong then on some "scientifically-awesome" piece and have no money for bud. Still awesome though. If you have that kind of money.

not sure how making the smoke smoother makes you higher. kind of feel like a plastic bong would get you just as high with the same amount of weed, although I could be wrong. but I am very jealous of your piece

Fatter hits that get you higher, more quickly.
