The people filming were involved, why else would they start filming to begin with? The person holding the camera was egging them on the most.

I brought up Occam's razor because my previous posts point to it.
Given what is said by the person filming, which suggests they are a part of the group attacking the man, and the fact the original uploader's description is "they caught a trump", chances are this attack was brought on by the election backlash.
While I'll agree chances are this is something they'd be doing regardless of current events, election backlash definitely has a role on why this particular attack is happening at this particular place and time.
