I wonder how it must feel to know that people have been prepping for your death basically the moment you took power. Some people walk around every day wondering if anyone would even notice if they died. The Queen walks around knowing that almost everyone cares, billions will be spent on it, it'll be one of the most viewed news events ever, and also exactly what will happen once she dies.

Pre-recorded messages by phone to unsuspecting members of the palace, etc. Just saying, that's what I would do.
when you watch videos like this about the elaborate plans for an emergency it's usually something like a world war breaking out or a nuke being launched, so it's strange to think that these plans as described in this video will no doubt 100% occur during my lifetime.
I like to think she's immortal.
We thought the same about Bruce Forsife, and then it was his curtain call all the sudden.
All BBC comedies will be off the air for twelve days? Sheesh.
Billions of dollars spent changing currency due to some old dead figurehead sounds pretty stupid honestly. Also why the fuck are they shutting so much shit down? A person died, it isn't like ISIS just bombed Big Ben or anything. Also I doubt 40% of the world would watch the queen's death since I doubt most people in developing countries would give much of a fuck. The only reason so many people watched Princess Diana's was cause she died young in an accident (which where I assume they are getting their estimates from).
I like to think she's immortal.
Well, she IS still alive... Guilty until proven otherwise.
Many young people die in car accidents. The major part of why people watched was because she was a member of the British royal family, one that is very popular around the world. Just like the Queen. [editline]18th November 2017[/editline] 750 million people watched Diana marry Charles.
But why?
But why?
People are pretty into the comings and goings of world leaders, even - and especially - when they're just symbolic figureheads. Nothing more or less to it.
