I just want to get it so I can drift around with my friends.
Loved Forza 4.
For fuck sake why does this have to be an exclusive!
Forza has been one of my favorite racing series, one of the reasons I bought a 360. I wish it was on PC.
forza has never been a very good sim. it's interesting to hear how the game is from a more mainstream perspective, but i'll wait for a review by vvv or someone similar before i take an interest in the game
on a side note, that gear-shift animation is really really terrible

there's so much stuff he's rimming in this review that has been implemented in the formula one games for the past three years. it's so vague a lot of it just feels like positive notes about the racing genre in general, rather than anything about a specific game

He also didnt mention anything about the game's length or variety of cars or tracks.
Jesus christ, the way he describes it makes it sound like he's about to cum at any second.
He also talks like he reads a thesaurus before every sentence.
but he's a great reviewer
im not gonna lie, i totally thought it was Adam sandler from the first page
but he's a great reviewer
but the wrong person to review this game
i'm not saying all games should be reviewed by people who are experts in the genre (that would be pointless and probably biased) but sessler has zero point of reference or comparison with which to review this game. i mean he flat out says he can't even remember forza 4, which is probably one of the only racing games he's ever played in his life
it'd be like giving bioshock infinite to someone who's never played a shooting game before. while yes that review would have its merits for being so blind, you also can't expect the review to have any decent sense of how the game compares to the market standards
After seeing this, I'd like to watch him review Gran Turismo 6. I think it'd be an interesting comparison. I've always liked the GT series over Forza myself, and I always like to hear other people's thoughts.
my brother gave me forza 3 since he got it for free from one of his friends and doesn't really like racing games.
i generally don't play a lot of racing games minus nfs underground series and carbon, but holy shit forza 3 was amazing. the points he made in that video seem to be indicative of the entire series. it's very welcoming with lots of individual training wheels to take off, which makes it great for a noob like me.

like i said though, that's just what modern racing games are like. every racing sim for like the past 5 years has had all of the same options as any of the forza games in terms of tuning the level of simulation for each player's needs
Oh man, is there any good racing game where you start with a shit car and then work your way upwards. On the PC.
Forza 5 looks great!

gran turismo too?
that's cool if so. i didn't know if it was forza exclusive but i really loved forza and remembered it being a lot better than most racing games i have played in the same decade or so. i'm not a big racer though since i mostly do pc gaming.

aye gran turismo, formula 1, project cars. i'm pretty sure even rfactor does too and, along with iracing, that's probably the most hardcore of all the sims
i'm not a big racer though since i mostly do pc gaming.
i don't own a console. the only racing games i'm missing out on are gran turismo and forza which, honestly, is no loss for me. forza isn't a great sim and, while gran turismo is a good driving simulator, it's a pretty terrible racing simulator

if i'm playing a "racing sim" then i want a game with a lot of car customization. that's what drew me to forza and nfs in the first place. but those games aren't as big on pc.

I dont remember any recent ones, but you can always replay the old NFS, and the TOCA race driver series had some neat things going for them.
Not sure how close to release project cars is...

Shit i remembered GRID 1 & 2
Even if he is pretty whiny. You guys know about the fuss he kicked up on twitter right? Sessler started bitching because Sony didn't send him a Debug PS4 (Which are fucking rare and barely anyone gets because if pirates get them then Sony is fucked) and had a huge stick up his ass about it, despite getting a free PS4 anyway.
Not to mention a year or two ago he was talking about how all gaming needed to be 1080p 60fps even if it cost visuals, then all of a sudden he's all "I don't care, i can't tell the difference, what's a frame rate?":

Sessler going all "Fuck visual fidelity, next gen can be 720p at 20fps!!" @ about 2:30

Aaaand here's him criticising consoles for not being 1080p 60fps at SGC 2013 @ 1:35
I really don't like him and I really don't trust his opinions.
he was saying that the idea of resolution is too important to most people and the focus should be on the actual games rather than the resolution they run in, he's not saying it doesn't matter
and he didn't criticize consoles in the second video, he just said it's not surprising nor a big deal if they run in 1080p with 60 fps

there is need for speed shift 2
Fuck this noise, I want burnout.

Turn 10 is a Microsoft subisidiary.

Doesn't mean that they shouldn't put it on Windows.
I would pre purchase Forza in a heartbeat. I love the series to death but I don't think I will be buying an Xbone anytime soon. I think it'd definitely be worth the effort to have it properly ported to PC.
Pfft, Forza ain't got shit

Can you still swap out engines and shit?
