I really need help with this problem.
I used to go to sleep in half an hour which was no problem. But last night it too me 2 hours.
I tried all different way's to go to sleep. And lay.
And when i get tired which is around 5:00 AM or 4:00 AM i go to sleep.
This is really annoying.
Don't drink sugary drinks or sodas before sleeping, don't work out before (like immediately before, an hour and a half before or so is fine), don't play video games or watch tv (stimulation to the brain), just try reading a book. It helps.
Stay up all night. Then the next night go to sleep at desirEdtime. Fix'd

Agreed. Have a vigorous fap, in bed, or right before you hop into bed.
Try not to think about anything when you are falling asleep, just keep a blank mind.
Just take sleeping pills, I'm sure you have them somewhere in your household. Or just watch TV

Take 2-3 calcium magnesium tablets an hour or so before you go to bed. Works for me.
Don't take pills or anything. Could lead to becoming dependant on them to sleep, which doesn't help.
Best advice I can give you is get up earlier and try to make yourself a bit more tired before you try and drop off.
I only get hard when i wake up, not when i go to sleep.
I sort of sleep on meds, because my brain doesn't make enough Melatonine for me to go to sleep.
Playing video games right before going to sleep really makes it difficult.
Have a hot, sweet drink (but not coffee, durr) if you want.
Read a book or magazine or something.
Try to only go to bed if you are actually tired, if you have no reason to sleep you won't.

I like to listen to those ambiance tracks that you can find online and such like the sounds of a gentle thunderstorm. They help me get to sleep, dunno about other people.

When you go to bed, think at the color black, nothing else. Don't move at all. And it must be warm in the room. The warmer in the room is, the faster you go asleep. No light. Find youself a comfortable position. There must be an air flow to your body.
There are several stages in sleep.
Stage 1 prepares you for stage 2. Stage 1 depends on yourself.
Stage 2: The brain sends impulses to the spine, which paralyzes you temorarly. Then the brain makes a little 'service' with your nervous system. It repairs damaged nerves and cleans your veins.
Stage 3: You start dreaming. In this stage, your brain prepares the body to wake up. It sends impulses to the spine to deparalyze you. You wake up through: Sound stimulation, Tactile stimulation (when someone touches you) or Olfactory stimulation (when you smell a scent). The reason of why you are dreaming is because your brain tries to wake you up. Nightmares are strong emotional wake-ups. While normal dreams give you extreme feelings, like flying, being an astronaut or something else.

I have the same problem. My brain doesn't turn off very easily, so I'll by lying there in bed for a few hours just thinking for a while before I finally fall asleep. It's very, very annoying.
I sometimes find what works is changing around the way you sleep. Do you ever find you sleep quicker if you're not in your own bed?
Try different stuff like pillow arrangement or even different pillows, sleep the opposite way on the bed, change the sheet thickness (run another one underneath), try a different blanket, try sheets tucked in / not tucked in. Maybe you leave something on in the room like computer hum, bright alarm light etc. make sure these are off.
Basically try and re-arrange how you sleep and your environment, and see if it makes any difference. It may not, but I know it works for some people.
And also do what people above have said, no caffeine, don't watch tv, etc.
Get exhausted, leave your home atleast once in your life, do sports. Then you're really tired, and then you will sleep like a little baby does when it's mom is holding it in love.
Smoking a bowl usually helps me sleep. I've been smoking for 7 years, so now it just acts like a sedative and doesn't really get me high the way it does for amateurs.

Also I have a probem sleeping if I stay up too long. It's like I stop being tired.
