i got to 10 minutes in the first video before i had to stop watching
he spends about 8 minutes talking about stuff that's barely related to his argument and spends 2 minutes briefly mentioning his argument, which is that the super guide makes players like him feel less special because someone doesn't have to be competent at the game to see the ending, which imo is a pretty selfish attitude to have about a game that's designed to be challenging only to the average gamer
the moment he started referencing game grump's lets play of nsmbwii and egorapter's megamanx video was the moment where i started to think he's probably just parroting the opinions of others instead of having one himself. at the start of the video i thought he would criticize something like how the game's physics feel dumbed down compared to the originals, or the level design or how safe the games are, but he instead chooses to talk about the super guide, one of the most insignificant additions to the series.
i don't know if he better represents his arguments in the second video or not but the first one was so poorly done i have no interest in checking it out
