I love horses, man. Been a while since I've ridden one. They're just such awesome animals. A lot of people don't realize it, but they've all got so much personality, like any dog or cat.
Overlay it with the Whisper Song.
They're also the most anatomically similar to humans.
I thought that was Pigs?
the thread title made me think this would be different
I thought that was Pigs?
Pigs' skin is roughly the same as ours, but thicker. That's why they use it for testing cosmetics. Horses, however, are proportioned very similarly to humans.
primates bro
Surprisingly enough, horses are more similar than most primates in regards to bone structure and overall organ function. Seriously, it sounds weird, but look it up.
Again, aren't pigs also more anatomically similar to humans in terms of organs and bones than horses?
That's what I thought, as they are generally used as a human replacement/substitute in scientific ventures and such.
That's what I thought, as they are generally used as a human replacement/substitute in scientific ventures and such.
a possible explanation for that could be that while pigs are less similiar in anatomy, they are much cheaper and readily available than horses or at least that's why rats are so popular in testing compared to more closely related animals

She just wanted a hearty stud to play with. [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]
oh god
My grandmothers horse does shit like this to me all the time. I swear, she must just enjoy pissing me off or scaring me If we are out on a walk for example, and my sister releases the reins while riding her, she will quietly sneak up behind me and breath down my back, or put her head right next to my shoulder suddenly. She also likes to walk very closely behind my like shes going to flat tire me, causing me to jump out of the way (horse hooves hurt), which she seems to find amusing If I scratch a certain spot on her face? Affectionate headbutt. Except since shes a horse, its like getting punched by a fist the size of a small fridge. they are silly animals
My aunt owned a lot of horses and was one of those rodeo barrel racing type people. I went to one of those events with her once, ever since I don't like horses. It's just gallons of piss and buckets of shit everywhere. EVERYWHERE
Horses are great, we had one that loved to walk right behind you and eat you alive while trying to do things around the field

I've seen some pretty nasty horse bites. You really shouldn't let them nibble at you. If I was that guy I would of moved ASAP.
I've seen some pretty nasty horse bites. You really shouldn't let them nibble at you. You're really only in trouble if they're clearly pissed off, which is made VERY apparent when they flatten their ears. Even then they usually bite to tell you to go away. This horse was just being goofy because there were new humans around.

Horses are funny like that
I can tell the accent is Chilean. My god, the humpy horses are staring me from the window. ill check.
Looks like he was trying to get his attention.
Looks like he was trying to get his attention.
Probably jealous as fuck of the other horse getting so much attention.
Far tastier than the latter too.
Cat's not bad.
Holy shit thats just the cutest thing ive seen all week. I never knew horses could be so funny and cute.
Horses are so cool. I've always wanted to ride one.
My cousin had a similar thing happen to him when we were kids, but he never seen a horse before and wanted to pet it and he went and did so, but the horse nibbled on his hair and ever since, he has become terrified of horses :v: Also, I saw this video earlier today and I'm surprised how the camera guy managed to stay still so long, especially when the horse's mouth was over his head!
