Found on yt, includes day 1 patch
Good god this guy's inflection is unbearable.
Still managed to watch the review, at least.
I'm far more interested in the game now that I know what it's actually like, but I'm not really sure if the price tag is worth it for me.

I started laughing my ass off when he said "repairing our ship."
But hey, he provided great information.
It seems that the problems he had with it are things that can be fixed.
This is a rushed review for clicks, wait for a more serious review if you are looking for good information.
I might be just dumb here, but why is this a review for clicks? He covered quite a lot of features as far as I know, only the base building and piloting giant ships aren't there.
was this review voiced by the son of Christopher Walken?
Review copies were sent out yesterday, and the review embargo ended today. So unless this guy got a leaked copy he didn't have much time to do this.
he said he played it for over 60 hours and reached the ending in the video.
he said he played it for over 60 hours and reached the ending in the video.
Then he isn't using a launch copy with the new patch, therefore this video is useless
Maybe it's been forever since I played a FPS on console but holy fuck what is up with that FOV. Is it normally this bad for console FPS's?
like this looks even lower than the standard 60 or is it just me
Then he isn't using a launch copy with the new patch, therefore this video is useless
He said he played 66 hours of before patch and possibly more after patch read comments it's not useless
Then he isn't using a launch copy with the new patch, therefore this video is useless
He states in the comments that he's played the updated version and doesn't think it really changes anything.
feel slightly short of what it could have beEEen
what's wrong with this guy, why does he talk so strangely, why does everything sound like a question
was this review voiced by the son of Christopher Walken?
Voiced by yet another guy who thinks doing a forced radio voice is easy listening.
If you aren't talking at least part naturally it sounds like shit.
Everything about the game looks pretty fun to play but geesh, those colors man. They make me puke.
Holy shit, that render distance. The ground literally renders like 15 feet in front of the ship, that's really immersion destroying
So lets compare with what we got with the reveal trailer that sparked most of the hype

The game delivers exactly what it promised. But procedural content gets boring super quickly hence why the hype for this never made any sense.
Reviewers got their keys late, so they didn't have much time before the embargo was over.
That's Hello Games' fault more than anything.
Game developers should just stop focusing on procedural content and design levels themselves.
Game developers should just stop focusing on procedural content and design levels themselves.
Nah, there's nothing wrong with procedural content. There's everything wrong with it being literally the only feature though. Hey, we have procedural content! We also have uhhh, we have TONS of procedural content!
This one at least has space battles that don't look like dogshit at the first glance.
If this game truly is good, it'd be pretty amazing to check out in VR.
This game remembered me Spore.
Hope I'm wrong but looks like it'll follow the same route.
Its got the Bethesda "Wide as an ocean, as deep as a puddle" RPG problem but to a much worse scale.
"finally arRIVed"
"The reaches of spAAce"
"He has a hunger for knOwledge"
"Decided to make some intergalactic FRiends"
The way he talks makes me want to stab my ears.
He sounds like a really bad Christopher Walken impression
Could not watch more than 2 minutes of this. How he speaks is unbearable
What an annoying fuckin voice.

All I see when I hear him talk.
It seems like he just records one sentence at the time and them stitches them together. Creating this really weird Start/Stop of each sentence.
This game honestly looks like arse from everything I've seen on it in the last few days. Flight, combat, "survival", crafting, all look boring boring boring. Even the procedural generation, when it comes to the flora/fauna was way overblown and is nowhere near as sophisticated as one were lead to believe. The only remarkable quality is the aesthetic and that's it. As someone above said, "Wide as an ocean, shallow as a puddle".

What are you talking about dude? Shooting purple rocks on a green planet then flying to a purple planet and shooting green rocks is the epitome of gameplay.
