They removed the second video I posted for some reason.
Incredible work. So well worth the 40 minute run time.
I remember when I followed the dude back in 2012 and was pleasantly surprised to see him posting a new video
This is really fucking well made
Fucking brilliant. Love the long shots of the city and the citadel. Sound design and music was perfect. Not let down by bad voice acting or shoehorned-in HL voice clips. [sp]Psychedelic death sequence featuring Gman was unexpected but dope.[/sp]
Felt very Blade Runner inspired, a HL feature film similar in style to this would be amazing.
Much better than I was expecting. Glad it randomly showed up in my YouTube recommends.
Almost every shot of this is wallpaper material.
Best Half Life 2 Machinima since War of the Servers.
Reminds me why I loved the world of Half Life 2 so much.
The man always delivers. Always had a vision, and remained true to his heart.

Source character models aren't quite on par on nowadays standards. That must've been shit ton of work, and it shows. Its amazing what all the dudes involved in this have achieved with this old engine.
Amazing how they were able to convey so much story and atmosphere without a single line of dialogue.
Reminds me how much I love the universe of HL2.

Yeah I must say, they were the most dated part of the video. Everything else actually looked pretty damn good for source. If someone made some actual updated citizens models, this would look so much more modern.

Atmosphere was on point but I honestly had a hard time figuring out what was going on and who was who.
