Uhh does anyone know if this shit works?
I found this and looked up the "science" behind binaural beats. Supposedly this program uses tones to simulate the effects of a real drug. I tried the "MarijuanaQH Dose"
It was boring as hell and didn't do anything at all except give me a headache.
Has anyone tried this program?
It's that time again, is it?
These threads are just as bad as all the herbal blend threads.
No, it doesn't get you high. Yes, the majority of the effects are nothing more than placebo.
What's it good for? Meditation. If you're not using it in a meditative mindset, it's not going to do a goddamn thing for you and you're going to be disappointed. I'm 100% sure that you, and every other asshole who responds to this thread saying it's bullshit, did not use it properly.

I've had positive experiences using a few different Binaural Beat applications. Why? Because I know what to expect from it and what not to expect from it.
if you wanna get high, just go out and buy k2 or some of that shit. or just go buy pot.
if you wanna get high, just go out and buy k2 or something like that.
Or, instead of wasting all your money on that, just buy some pure JWH-018 and smoke that shit/make your own blend.
[editline]08:13PM[/editline]
Also, OP: I hope you didn't pay for the "dose"
You can [legally] get all of those "doses" for free using the original Binaural Beat program, SBaGen
i would love to have a spray bottle of JWH-018 but i wouldn't know where the fuck to get that shit lmao.
EDIT:
oh shit, a google search told me its commonly sold online? i might have to get some of that..
It's not that hard to find a decent online vendor. There's this nifty little webpage called "Google" that lets you search for shit
Placebo. Waste of time, money (if you're an idiot and you buy it), and hard drive space.

Asshole #1, welcome to the discussion
No I didn't pay for the dose.
if you wanna get high, just go out and buy k2 or some of that shit. or just go buy pot.
yes, I've tried a few of the K2 blends. and I smoke a few times a month.
I'll probably experiment with more of these programs some time, the concept sounds interesting.
It is interesting, provided you go into it with an open and clear mind. If you expect too much from it, you're going to be disappointed. Don't go into it with any expectations. Go into it with nothing more than simple curiosity. Go into it simply looking to experience whatever it is that it has to offer.
Like I said, I've had positive experiences with Binaural Beat programs. However, they've never produced the effects that they claimed to produce.

I don't see how my post was any more rude than anything else said in this thread...
I didn't mean any offense by it, but honestly the program is nothing more than a waste of time and money unless you need white noise to sleep or to meditate as you've stated, and even then you can get it for free. I-Doser is really nothing more than a scam.
As for other binaural beat programs, I've never had one work and it really is just a placebo. If that's your thing then that's fine but honestly, there are better ways.

Your post wasn't rude in any way. I was just referencing my first post in the thread.

It's absolutely a waste of money. You'll get no argument from me on that one. I-Doser is definitely a scam. It markets a product as something that it's not, overcharging for something that should be, and is, free.
However, you are underplaying the application of binaural beats. It's more than just white noise.

It's not placebo, the effects just aren't as described. Again, it's more of a meditative tool than a means of getting high. You'd have to be pretty damn stupid to actually expect to get high from it.
Also, you should keep in mind that if you're not listening to it through quality noise-canceling headphones, it's not going to work for you.
hahahahahahaha
OP, it works to an extent and isn't all just placebo effects. But as Anubis has said, it won't get you high.
If you are planning to use a program like this, then it does help a lot to smoke some weed beforehand to help you really unwind and make the most of it.
Don't do what a lot of people do and start surfing the net or reading a book while doing it because that makes your mind too active.

Also, the effect of it are very subtle, so you shouldn't go into it expecting to melt into your chair and become couch-locked.
How to make a business out of scamming people into thinking they can get high:
1.turn on your TV to channel 666
2. record the static
3.repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have about 50 tracks.
4.???
5.profit

I meant the getting high part that most people who use I-Doser expect is mostly a placebo, the meditative qualities certainly are not. Sorry for belittling binaural beats, it's just that I-Doser threads tend to incite a subconscious rage the moment I see them.
Good, some intelligent people. I dislike when everyone goes on the placebo train. Binaural beats do have an effect on people although the strength of the effect is likely to be very little, most won't feel any difference. There are studies that show that repeated listening to binaural beats create stronger responses in the brain. What are you going to feel listening to iDoser, likely nothing.
I really want to try iDoser while on acid or shrooms. Because even if you don't get the actual binaural effects, I think the placebo part would still make your trip a little different to normal.
My buddy and I hotboxed his car and put on binaural beats while we did it. It was weird as shit.

Don't binaural beats require a set of headphones to use? I thought the stereo was incredibly important to get right and that's hard to achieve with speakers.
Well, in a small, completely enclosed space, car speakers worked just fine. I'm not saying we achieved the desired (or described) effect, but it was still pretty crazy.
I-Doser is completely overrated. However binaural beats are nothing but pure truth. The staggered sound waves travelling through both ears really can have some interesting effects. Still, completely overrated. How they think they can create desired highs from different beats I have no idea, but it's still clever. Try listening to this shit whilst self inducing yourself into sleep paralysis, that will mess you up for a night, trust.

I'd imagine your brain is more susceptible to them while sleeping, but wouldn't the effects be well and truly gone by the time you wake?
When I woke up I just felt really, really sketched the fuck out. I went to get a drink, walked past a tiny light that cast a massive shadow of me onto a wall and I almost cried...
Before I forget, Infected Mushroom, Project 100, just before 6 mins in. Listen to that with headphones, has a binaural beat effect to it.
Binaurals in my music?
It's more likely than you think.
Your brain already picks up the tones of music and affects your mood by that.
That is especially true of songs that have meaning for you. For example, the song Right Now by Van Halen always makes me super motivated. Why? Well that was the song my coach always played before going to the state competition.
Thats called anchoring.
I tried the LSD beat and ended up on Jupiter.
