awesome
Looking good for what is is
Oh God, I can't wait to stab zombies in the butt.
Holy shit that massive zombie.
So far I'm really liking that gradual damage decal thing, it looks fun but there's something about it that just looks a bit disappointing.
this looks insanely fun, imagine this with 3 other people.
HELP ME! FUCK! DAMMIT! -dead-
Alot of people are saying they're disappointed because it looks too "arcady" to them
looks really fun though, and seems like it has great potential for coop
This looks like it was touched up quite a bit more than the first gameplay video released.
I really like it, looks good. The ragdolls also seem pretty decent which is a plus. Can't wait for release.
This looks incredible, I can't wait for this.
Finally, a fresh zombie game.
oh boy this is gonna be fun
I'm hyped for this game, September 6th for North America, 9th for the rest of the world.
I LOVE YOU FOR POSTING THIS.
How come games have not used the damage system that was in Soldier of Fortune II? It was THE most amazing thing as far as gore is concerned, and here we are, 10 years later, no one is touching it. This is the closest thing since then and it still lacks the depth and detail SoFII used

And in-game you had intestines, ribcages, the brain that isn't shown in that video
I want more of that!
The guy playing is pissing me off. It's obvious he can't handle a pack of zombies with the weapons he's holding so why does he constantly insist on taking on the RAM every fucking time.
I don't understand why the guy throws his machete every chance he can get.
The last thing I would want to do in the zombie apocalypse is throw away something more powerful than my fists.

I think he was throwing knives and still had his machete. I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I know, right? I sometimes replay SOF II every now and then because the detail in terms of gore is so great. Why has no other game ever done this?
I mean, decals weren't just decals. There were several layers for each hit. The actual hole, the splatter around it, the burn from close up powder, a slowly growing one for the clothing soaking and shrapnell for shotgun hits.
It just felt so sadisfying and with the cheesy terrorist plot it really was like playing some violent 80s action flick.
ONLY thing I dislike... The -ONLY- thing I hate is the zombie health bars and damage indicators. But, I'm hoping that stuff is toggable on/off. Other than that, it's a definite buy in my book.
Wow this guy is horrible.
This looks more fun than I thought it was going to be from that first gameplay trailer.
Whens this coming out? People said august 1st but I'm no so sure.

I've not seen official developer confirmation, but some people say August 1st, and...

...he says Sept. 6th. I'm not saying either of these guys are wrong, but I've never seen any official word from the devs of a release date so I have no clue where these guys are getting it from.
If someone could provide a source that'd be good, if one exists that is.
youtube version please
It's like borderlands with zombies.
Oh wait.
It was already done:

If you think I'm wrong think about it. Other than a few differences this is pretty much borderlnands with zombies as the main enemies.

Except this game might actually be fun after four days.
I'm not saying it's not going to be fun. I REALLY enjoyed Borderlands.

An SoF2 Zombie Mod would be amazing.

I'm hoping there will be mods to remove the hud completely, maybe apart from health. So far its looking a lot more atmospheric than i imagined from the earlier game-play footage. Here's hoping it will have a stalkeresque feel to the whole survival thing. I also like the lack of music, letting the world around you really sink in.
The directly from xbox recorded footage that we all saw earlier was for some parts also recorded by off turned hud and popping stuff. If they are working for 5 years on this game already I freaking bet my ass that they have included various option to make the game suite your own style. They even said that they are really loving George romero zombie films and all that shit so I really think they turn the option for more realism or more realism feeling better-said in.
Excuse my weird english :v:
Did anyone notice the graphics loading delay when he went into the sewers and exited to the street?
