And sound proof. The xbox is louder than a jet engine.
I thought this would be great but it turns out it's amazing.
I want one of those.
It costs close to 1000€. If you think about it, it's rather cheap for a system like that.
This raises a question for me:
How good quality can the TV itself be, when in the bundle you get Bluray player, stereos and the table?
The bluray player itself might cost ~100 - 200€ and a wireless speaker system can cost about as much. The table doesn't look like it's from the cheaper spectrum of IKEA furniture, so I would make a wild guess that the table itself could cost another 100 - 200€.
So if the price without the TV is already ~400 - 500€, the TV's quality raises some serious questions, because if you look at how much does an average 40 - 42" HDTV cost, it wouldn't fit into that 1000€ price tag.
I don't know, I'm really sceptical towards this.

There are a lot of stuffs ikea makes that are cheap and still really good. Some stuffs I can't belive that they are so cheap for the quality.
It is usually cheaper to buy stuffs in a big package (sometimes) insted of everything for it self.
But I can still agree with you, when it comes to electronics I'm not sure how to trust ikea yet. Need to see more about this and see if for my self.

That's the good bit about IKEA to me, you go and actually see the furniture at the shop first. So you wouldn't be buying this blind, but after seeing it with your own eyes.
I love the introduction video that came out some time ago

Yeah, chick is hot
Looks so clean and modern, I just worry if the consoles/video players get enough ventilation in that space.

Factor in the markup prices of those products seperately, Ikea isn't making that much of a markup on each product if seperate and even then I do believe everything apart of the new unit is created by them even further allowing them to reduce markup making it extremely affordable

Depends if someone comes out to your house to fix it, or you have to pull everything apart and bring it into Ikea for them to have a look.
And I'd say it'd be pretty hard to compare to named brands such as Sony and Samsung, considering when you go to an electrical/department store you can easily compare picture quality between a variety of TV's.
You walk into Ikea, you can't compare it to anything so you're sort of winging it.
Also are there different screen sizes? or will they all be say 40"

Will I have to assemble it myself?

The shit part is even getting to the point of repair. All of the major manufacturers have extremely strict parameters a TV must meet before it can be repaired and on the off chance you are covered under the factory warranty 9 times outta 10 they blame you for its malfunction.
Looks cool, I would get it just because I really love the whole idea of it but I really doubt that IKEA would be any help at all if it went wrong.

Ikea doesn't actually make a ton of profit from the more expensive or larger things they sell, they actually make most of their money from all of the small pointless shit that people buy when they come to the store to pick up something like this.

Makes sense.
It has happened more than once when I stroll down the isles and realize that everything I need is too expensive and I end up walking out of the store with a set of rubber cutleries rather than a new office chair.
Admit it, we've all been there.
