As WRC-TV first reported, One Million Moms called for a boycott of “American Girl” magazine after it included husbands Rob and Reece Scheer in a story about the children that they adopted from foster care. “Scripture says multiple times that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful nature,” the group wrote. “American Girl doesn’t highlight other sins in their magazine.” Rob Scheer told WTTG on Monday that as a gay man with four adopted African-American children he expected a certain amount of criticism. But he was shocked because the attack came from a group of “moms”. “These were moms! These were moms that were saying that my family was wrong, that the love that my husband and I are giving our four kids and what we’re doing was wrong,” Rob recalled. “I would expect moms not to say these type of things about our family.” “But at the same time, these are a ‘million moms,’ they could really be helping the 364,000 kids in foster care,” he pointed out. “This is our family and it works for us. And you know what? We have four amazing kids that we adopted out of foster care. These are four kids that have fulfilled our life more than we ever thought.” “So to the Million Moms, I say to them, ‘You know what? Go to your local foster care agency, those kids could really use your help and not worry about the Sheer family.'”
Shame on those two men for giving four young kids a hopeful future instead of letting them spend their time in the orphanage. Burn them at the stake for having better family values than One Million Moms! One Million Moms sounds like a lesbian organization rally or something
One Million Moms sounds like a lesbian organization rally or something
quite the opposite, they sound like a pretty conservative organization that would be in support of abstinence only sex-ed or harsh drug policies, and would easily whip up into frenzies over perceived ~dangers~ to children
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
they're adopted
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
I don't think it matters either way.
they're adopted
I mean, I'm assuming he understands that part. I think he was just curious about every single kid they picked being black. Not that it really matters
I mean, I'm assuming he understands that part. I think he was just curious about every single kid they picked being black. Not that it really matters
It's possible that the four of them were very close (either siblings or very close friends) when in the foster system and the fathers didn't feel like it'd be fair to tear them apart.
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
Good question. Why are they black... hmm.
Because they were born with melanin in their skin?
Why are any of us the color we are.
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
Oh my God, you can't just ask someone why they're black!
If we're discussing their choice, i'd ask for one of each color instead.
That organization name is genius. "One Million Moms called for a boycott"
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
Statistically speaking, black people are more likely to be in poor standing financially, meaning that they may need to give their children up for adoption more often.
Why are they all black though. Not being racist, just genuinely curious. It would make sense if they were all blood brothers & sisters.
Maryland's population is about 30% black and Baltimore in particular is over 63% black, and I'd assume that there are a lot of children up for adoption in the Baltimore area given the countless issues the city faces.

one million soccermoms nice one gee
you throw mw2's terminal scene into this group and the sheer anal collective force could be harvested for energy and last eons.
they're adopted
All adopted kids are black. [editline]11th November 2015[/editline]
Heres the best thing to do, ignore them completely, then when they go and say "why you ignore us? u sin!" just be like "we don't care, you are a degenerative peasant." Bible thumpers need to be completely and thoroughly ignored.
I mean, I'm assuming he understands that part. I think he was just curious about every single kid they picked being black. Not that it really matters
There is a disproportionate amount of black children compared to white children in foster care, due primarily to the fact that most black Americans live in poverty.
