At a time when trust in government is at a low point, Trump is actively stoking fears that a core tenet of American democracy is also in peril: that you can trust what happens at the ballot box.
His supporters here said they plan to go to their local precincts to look for illegal immigrants who may attempt to vote. They are worried that Democrats will load up buses of minorities and take them to vote several times in different areas of the city. They’ve heard rumors that boxes of Clinton votes are already waiting somewhere.
At rally in N.H., Trump supporters see conspiracy against him
And if Trump doesn’t win, some are even openly talking about violent rebellion and assassination, as fantastical and unhinged as that may seem.

“If she’s in office, I hope we can start a coup. She should be in prison or shot. That’s how I feel about it,” Dan Bowman, a 50-year-old contractor, said of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee. “We’re going to have a revolution and take them out of office if that’s what it takes. There’s going to be a lot of bloodshed. But that’s what it’s going to take. . . . I would do whatever I can for my country.”
He then placed a Trump mask on his face and posed for pictures.

Trump has recently started encouraging his mostly white supporters to sign up online to be “election observers” to stop “Crooked Hillary from rigging this election.” He’s urging them to act as posses of poll watchers in “other” communities to ensure that things are “on the up and up.”
“Watch your polling booths,” he warned.
His supporters are heeding the call.
“Trump said to watch your precincts. I’m going to go, for sure,” said Steve Webb, a 61-year-old carpenter from Fairfield, Ohio.
“I’ll look for . . . well, it’s called racial profiling. Mexicans. Syrians. People who can’t speak American,” he said. “I’m going to go right up behind them. I’ll do everything legally. I want to see if they are accountable. I’m not going to do anything illegal. I’m going to make them a little bit nervous.”
Some Trump supporters say that if he doesn’t win, they figure the United States government will be no better than dictatorships where elections cannot be trusted.
“We’re heading toward North Korea, without a doubt,” said Grant Reed, a Trump supporter wearing a shirt that said, “If you’re offended, I’ll help you pack.”
Joe Cecil, a 39-year-old restaurant manager, said he has never voted before but is newly inspired by Trump.
“If people are offended by the sexual stuff, what do they think is going to happen when Muslims come here, implement Sharia law, and start raping our women?” he asks.
I am terrified this year that no matter what happens, no matter who wins, there is going to be violence in America in November and a creation of awful divisions. I fear that the rifts being opened, especially by Trump's rhetoric, have created a Pandora's box.
this is honestly the thing im more terrified about. trump? he's awful, but so is hillary. the biggest issue is that trumps fanbase is so rabid, so dignified in what they want to do, that its going to be awful either way. if trump is elected, they'll all feel justified, all that hate and anger toward everything. and if he isn't elected, riots, bloodshed. will it happen on the level they want? of course not. but I know it'll happen. you don't have this kind of craziness on the side of hillary.
This shit is so next level crazy I don't even know what to say
“I’ll look for . . . well, it’s called racial profiling. Mexicans. Syrians. People who can’t speak American,” he said.
Truly we have become the satire.

Corruption breeds instability, if the nation splits into civil war it's the fault of the corrupt bureaucrats who have been profiting at the expense of the nation's citizens for decades. Trump isn't creating or saying anything new, he's just a figure head, a hilariously bad one at that.
“I’ll look for . . . well, it’s called racial profiling. Mexicans. Syrians. People who can’t speak American,”
lol its like the most ridiculous redneck American stereotype came to life
Say what you will about Trump, using this (his fans words) against Trump is pretty asinine. We can only hope he encourages this shit in such an asinine way that he gets canned though.

Where do you think they got those words from?
What the hell did you people put into your water pipes?

...That seems awfully inefficient.
Where do you think they got those words from?
Bash on trump for shit he said, not shit his fans say.
The people who are now his fans were racist, sexist assholes long before trump ran for president. He only brought them out of the woodwork.
I'd like to see these Hicks try and rebel. They'd get crushed pretty easily.
Honestly though it's sickening to see what political factionalism has done to this country. We should've listened to ol' Washington.
But they're fucking idiots. If the President dies, no election. The VP takes over and is guarded like the Crown Jewels (mixing my metaphors here). If the VP dies, you get the Speaker of the House. Who is not Donald or even friends with Donald but a bona fide establishment Republican. It's just retarded to even think that assassination is an option.

and this whole campaign is giving them more fire. trump certainly isn't helping, he's making it worse in many ways.
Trump has told his supporters to go to the polling stations to make sure everything is on the up and up. You'd have to be naive to not see that he wants his supports to intimidate people into voting for him. Not to mention he has gone on about if he loses, it means it was rigged.

and this whole campaign is giving them more fire. trump certainly isn't helping, he's making it worse in many ways.
I guess that is fair enough, I just don't like the idea of doing it since, a lot of people love to do that.
I mean, I'm not going to pretend the muslim ban and wall don't exist, that shit is some braindead trash
I could point out Clintons worst fans too but she doesn't exactly act like them so what the fuck would even be the point.
Like, I mean, these racists existed but they've gotten worse ever since Trump did his thing.
and this whole campaign is giving them more fire. trump certainly isn't helping, he's making it worse in many ways.
Trumps not making anything worse than it already was. You can only ignore and try to devalue people for so long before they say enough is enough and raise up. If it wasn't trump, it would be something or someone else. Trump isn't the root of the problem, he's a symptom.

Trump has multiple times told his supporters to go 'watch' polling places for anything they deem suspicious; has made multiple comments involving Clinton getting assassinated; and is currently promising to imprison her and her lawyers if elected.
This shit started somewhere and it started at the top.

Someone's getting a visit from the Secret Service.

Mafia style intimidation tactics. It seems that Trump really does run a criminal enterprise with this campaign.
Can't wait to watch people like me and my girlfriend become targets for nuts

he certainly is making things worse. he talked about how the voting was rigged a few months ago, and how the election was rigged in the favor of hillary from the start. he hasn't tried calming these people down or distancing himself from them. he called for a trump revolution if hillary wins. his top advisors keep talking about bloodbaths. sure, it isn't as if he's the only cause for this, but he is most certainly making it worse. you never saw these types of statements in previous elections, and it isn't as if things have gotten monumentally worse in politics in the past few years.
What the hell did you people put into your water pipes?
fluoride?
this is entirely trump's fault, he openly supports the insane people in his voter base that support assasinating enemies and armed revolution when they don't get their way
compare this to the GOP's nominee eight years ago;

Oh please. People have been saying this shit for YEARS. You don't see it because you don't want to. You make excuses to dismiss and diminish the people saying it because they are extreme. Things HAVE gotten monumentally worse in politics in the past few years, and it's because of how extreme everyone has gotten. Trump isn't making anything worse. He's just not trying to controlling the extreme people like you would like him to.

My advice is figure out a way to unify the left and right. Both sides agree with ending oligarchy and ending corruption. Unfortunately the right is attached to their guns and religion and distrust the left for fear of losing these things. The left is afraid of the right due to bigotry and racism. Either find a way unify or risk blood in the street
I said this months ago. It doesn't have to be against the government itself, but I do feel a second civil war is coming.
Or - as I called it - a "brouhaha", if you think "civil war" is too official or something.

I hope you're not going to let a few reports like this put you off exercising your right to vote

There won't be a second civil war. But I think there will be blood.
And I hope to god none of your blood is spilled thanks to some pumped up crazies.
Won't weep for any of the degenerates who get violent and get killed for it. The gene pool's better off without them, and they're only reaping what they would have sown.

Oh, blood is inevitable at this point, I know that for a fact.
Luckily enough, I live in a "crazy-free" enough area where I don't think there'll be much of an uprising around the Philly metropolitan area. Camden may be a destitute hole of street rats, but from what I've seen they're Democrat street rats.
