Yes it looks like a lobster.
Reminds me of a Transformer.
I bet there will be a super fast paced section in the movie for it. Going to look like Pod-Racing.
Looks kickass, it's got a bunch of plates which tells me they've got some crazy expensive super-effective aerodynamic design.

doesn't look very aerodynamic to me. quite the opposite actually. stealth from radar maybe, but i bet you could use it as a parachute with all that air resistance!
So it doesn't really fly, does it?
Fucking special effects.

I saw him sitting in the seat and all I could think was "I'M BATMAN"

Haha, I think that's just a model of Batman in there.

I'd assume it'd cost less and look better to just have the guy sit in the seat and pretend to be flying the machine.

But who knows, I'm not a movie expert.
Looks more like a submarine.
The plates probably move to direct air and help it turn; like mini rudders
It is not conceivable how much money is burned in the film industry.. Only in Batman's case it's going to a good cause, unlike the countless of shitty cliche horribad films.

Am I the only one that thinks that looks totally ridiculous? There better be some CGI involved in that.
hnnnng this is so cool. Just look at how technical it all is. Like, the car that it's mounted on and how slow it's actually going, but in the film I bet it's going to look like it's actually flying and it's going to be a fast paced chase scene.
I love movies and seeing how they're made. But I need to not watch these, because I don't want to be spoiled.

Obviously they're going to edit out the car and it's going to be an actual chase scene. But the less CGI the better. CGI makes films look cheap and lazy. Just look at the Star Wars prequels.
The more physical elements you have in your film the better. It's why movies like The Thing and Alien are far more scary than most common day monster horror films. You can just tell that the monsters are CGI and you instantly dismiss it as so. Animatronics and physical mechanics make things look and feel real, and it sucks you in.

This scene would not be the same if it were done with CGI.

You really think they'd put that in the film? With the car holding it up like that? Haha.

This just in, Wayne Enterprises has gone broke, and so has Batman.

I wasn't trying to say that, don't get me wrong... Alien is one of my favorite movies of all time. I am just saying that the way it's rocking back and forth like that makes it look silly.
Maybe it was a bad take because this looks a lot better.

Well I imagine this is all going to be sped up to simulate a faster chase.
For some reason I find myself fascinated at how they manage to organise all this stuff.

woooooo im in batman
The Batwing looks fucking amazing. Hopefully the movie will be amazing aswell.

Yeah it isn't very aerodynamic at all, Then again! Anything can fly with the right amount of thrust behind it!

But it doesn't look like it has any lift. I mean, shouldn't there be like mini jets under it to make it hover?
It looks more like a plane or jet, then a hovering batwing.

Uhm...look again sport, theres little things under it that might be used for CG propellors or like, jets.
