Oh sweet, it is free.
This is how much all DLC should cost.
This is how much all DLC should cost.
For some DLC it can't be helped. But map packs? Should be free.
But they can make money off of it and kids who get everything from their parents will get it and laugh at you and call you poor
Only THQ know how DLC is done. Can't say the same for the rest of the games.
Only THQ know how DLC is done. Can't say the same for the rest of the games.
Hey now, I think if it is cheap enough, and the game is good enough, that it deserves money. Case and point, Just Cause 2.
Perfect example right now would be Mafia II when the game just came out, and they're already making DLC for it, which they could have added to begin with. Developers need to get off their high horse and start actually making good games instead of Rip off pricing and DLC. This is probably why most people rather torrent than actually buying something to support. [editline]05:11PM[/editline] And metro was worth buying and support imo.
Wait, they just released the news for this? I got the game yesterday and it had these modes.
I would say a day is enough room to assume the bot is just alittle late.
Only THQ know how DLC is done. Can't say the same for the rest of the games.
I felt like I got every penny out of all the Fallout 3/GTA IV DLC I bought
Only THQ know how DLC is done. Can't say the same for the rest of the games.
Valve.
valve needs to know how to release a game first badum tish
This is how much all DLC should cost.
Try telling that to Infinity Ward. $15 for 5 maps, anyone?
Valve.
Valve by default :v: [editline]10:27PM[/editline] At least right now, Metro isn't going into the Infinity Ward style over DLC As well as Dawn of War II, all their DLC were free and new maps. They know how to make games.
Back in the good old days there were always free maps and sometimes new content, all this in just patches.
Back in the good old days there were always free maps and sometimes new content, all this in just patches.
Red Alert 2 patch which added all them maps. [/nostalgia]
Back in the good old days there were always free maps and sometimes new content, all this in just patches.
Seriously what happened to the good old days of expansion packs? It's almost all DLC now.
Dlc, expansion packs, it's sort of the same I find valve doing a good job with dlcs, and I love bioware for its dragon age dlcs, they are not free but the dlc are fucking great
Now all they need to do is reduce the price. Seriously i can buy this for 30aud retail at the shops, reduce price steam :)
Sweet
So that's what the update was.
I felt like I got every penny out of all the Fallout 3/GTA IV DLC I bought
Because that DLC was supreme.
I felt like I got every penny out of all the Fallout 3/GTA IV DLC I bought
Fallout 3's DLCs were good, but Point Lookout was amazing. Plus repackaging them all into the GOTY edition and having a price tag of $50 for all the DLC and the game itself was a steal. GTA IV's DLCs were 10 hours long each. Well worth the $30 asking price.
Gdamnit. If i didnt like game cases so much i could have gotten it for free.
I wish my PC was good enough to run this, I'd buy it in a heartbeat
fun fact: there isn't really any pc that's good enough to run this unless you have something like dual GTX 480s or dual 5970s
