Looks like they gave Webby a massive character design overhaul.
Actually doesn't look bad but hopefully the voice acting isn't ruined by everyone doing a duck accent

Can't complain, Webby was fucking useless and annoying.
the only one who should have a strong duck accent is Donald. hopfuly this turns out better than the current mickey mouse cartoons.
i fucking love ducktales

I'm loving that art direction.
They had better have the old theme song somewhere in there.

The best thing about those cartoons is the animation. The stories are nothing special, but they're at least in line with the really early Walt Disney stuff.
It makes me happy Disney's doing 2D cartoons again. Growing up on the Disney Afternoon, it was a shock when they went all 3D.
Eh, I'd rather just play the game instead. Still got the box along wit the red slips of paper.
Being a Ducktales fan since I was a kid. I have to say. I was REALLY worried about how this would look. This actually looks pretty good. Reminds me of the comic book style.
If they fuck this reboot up I will be pissed off.
Glad to see the character redesign didn't go the way of the tragic happy meal box, seems fine to me

Oh god that makes me remember how greedy he was...
I wouldn't mind them not portraying him as a rich dick who constantly needs reminding to not be a dick, rather someone who's successful and wise and is teaching the kids a lesson

I always found Scrooge more interesting as noble capitalist, trying to balance his greedy tendencies and his moral code.
BUT HEY, who wants to go to Machu Pichu and find a trove of cursed Spanish dubloons?! WOOOOO
Well now. This certainly has potential, in both ways.
Ducktales was great when it first came out but it has aged quite a bit. Honestly, it always felt really watered down compared to the Donald Duck comic books I read when I was young. A modern take on it could be spectacular, if the show is done properly.
First and foremost, it would need to adapt a lot. Popular and well received shows these days all have strong continuity. The show was all about individual adventures, something which inherently works against continuity.
I've always loved the Duck-universe because as an European, we didn't have Batman and the Avengers. We had Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse comic books.
As silly as it sounds, there is a lot of potential in the duck family of Disney. It can be adult, yet childishly innocent while still providing suspense, humor and great storytelling.
I'd hate to see it used wrong.
Don Rosa greatest Disney comic writer, period
I was expecting something along the lines of the new Lion King series.
This actually looks really good. Can't wait to watch it!

He's a good artist in general, it's a shame he's a nobody in the US.
I love how they gave the triplets all different hairstyles. I like that besides their shirt colors separating them.
im just happy to see a cartoon that has a unique style nowadays
I honestly like the artstyle a lot, I loved ducktales so I hope they won't butcher this one at all. But I can't see them messing up too badly either.
I feel they will use the Theme song from Ducktales Remastered.

Not exactly the original song. But still sticking to the roots.
DUCK ACCENT
where's launchpad?
Also I like the style, looks like the online mickey shorts.

I'm hoping that he's more of a side character whenever an airplane is needed, not having Launchpad in general would be a shame.
Something about the art style really makes me think of a comic book, hopefully that carries over to animation well instead of looking cheap as shit.

This article mentions he's slated to appear along with a bunch of other characters. Whether or not it's true I have no idea but I'd be surprised if he didn't appear at all.

0:48 "Tales of Garry Newman and good duck tails.. Woohoooo!"
Well, this screenshot looks good. If it is a screenshot that is.
I am going to hold my opinion until I see it in motion.

I suppose that since Launchpad is mostly the NotDonald, his appearances will be more limited as Donald
seems to have reclaimed his status as one of the main cast.
