Sorry that I couldn't find a news article (If someone can I'll add it to the OP), but the title is self explanatory, and here's a video of Glenn Beck discussing why marijuana should be legalised with the former Deputy Foreign Minister of Mexico:

Looks like Glenn Beck said something smart for once, pretty interesting.
That was kind of unexpected, coming from Glenn Beck.
Who is that man and what has he done to the real Glenn Beck?
Glenn Beck being reasonable?!?!?!?! What is this world coming to
That was kind of unexpected, coming from Glenn Beck.
Not really. He DOES pretend to be a libertarian.
"Ello Luvlees"
He's still dumb.
Wow. Even if Glenn Beck's still retarded, this might make some of his audience think twice.
Glenn Beck isn't a stupid person, his views are just extreme, and he seems to think extreme change is just what it would take to get the country back on his feet. I think he has more of an understanding of politics than most here.
As far as legalising marijuana, it's definitely a good move, and there can be a gain for everyone. Potheads can legally smoke, government can tax. Everyone wins.
Well, almost everyone.

I'm glad you put "pretend" in there. I don't really know why he calls himself a libertarian. Maybe to try to seem different.
I just hope the fact that glenn beck of all people said it doesn't deter the cause to legalize in any way
This is a great thing. Regardless of what your views on Beck are, the fact is that lots of people watch and listen to him.
marijuana was only made illegal in the first place to make the related plant, hemp, also illegal (as hemp was a very usefull material and was cutting on on other business's profits). the campaign against marijuana heavily used racist and false behavioral associations in order to get the public on the "ban it" side of things.
Broken clock is right twice a day I guess
When even Glenn Beck is telling you to legalise it, it's probably best to do it.

We also give a good kick to the profits of the cartels.
I'd never think I'd ever say this, but listen to this man.
Well, that's it, we have won. Considering the amount of sheepish retards that listen to this guy, we've got the vast majority of America on our side now.
i thought this guy was a huge troll
Oh wow, looks like he's finally pulled his head out of his ass.
+100 Respect Mister Beck, bringing your total to -9,900.
Holy shit wait what
i thought this guy was a huge troll
and he's probably still trolling us.
He's gone so crazy it wrapped around to sane.
Or he's jumping a bandwagon for political points.
I don't really know anything about Glenn Beck but I assume some people watch him. This is only good news.
He is only saying it now because the Pharmaceutical companies are starting to work on Marijuana based drugs.
As usual, he is saying it because it happens to be in corporate interest.

When there's a bandwagon and pro legalisation is the more popular option politically it will be a great day, but we're not there yet.

There have been marijuana based drugs like marinol for a while now. It's really only in corporate intrests for it to remain illegal - I assume your talking about pharmaceutical companies? Because you can't patent a plant.
Not to mention tobacco and alcohol companies, infact it seems it's very much against corporate intrest.
Didn't he say that he wasn't agianst homosexuality and gay marriage, some time back?
Maybe he's starting to change his views?

I think that's a bit of a stretch, can't we just assume that he's just being reasonable?

Ha, now that's a bit of a stretch!
