That's the words I need defined. It's what I have gathered in a period of ~ 2 months. Most of the words come from games, a few from movies as well.
YES, I could easily google each word, but it's often defined in a hard-way/manner which isn't easy for me to understand.
For example, "Cohesive":
causing cohesion; "a cohesive agent"
cohering or tending to cohere; well integrated; "a cohesive organization"
wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn
cohesion - coherence: the state of cohering or sticking together
See. It doesn't make it very clear..Is it sticking together? Heard it in a very different context.
Oh, and I'm training to be an English teacher. Hopefully in Eastern Europe or Asia.
Cheers
*You can overwrite other definitions if you can feel you can define it better.
*Any edit replaces the entire page so if you are slow in defining things you can just skip over others' definitions so if someone takes ten minutes to define something they can potentially ruin around 10 to 20 definitions
...And it's done! Thanks to all of you who contributed; I wish you the best and I thank you deeply!
This is the final result:

(quick edit: I see many people contributed and saved. Some got overwrited. I managed to get most of the defitions. There are some duplicates, but that's only good! I got your definitions, even if their not in the final result, cheers!
I did all the definitions, the connotations of the words I put in parentheses next to the literal meaning.
I suggest you take a trip to dictionary.com. It should help you.
You plan to be an English teacher and you don't know these words?
I'll help with what I can.
Added 2 definitions, am I a good person now? :3

God bless you.

I know nothing but English and don't know half these words.
proximity - A is in close proximity to B means that A is close to B.
I don't get it. You want to be an English teacher, and yet you can't understand dictionary definitions.
:downs:
Added like five definitions for the hell of it and the message up top

Hey maybe he doesn't live in a English speaking country? Who'd a thunk it?
chrono = this isn't actually a word. Did you get it from Chrono Trigger by any chance? xD
Which idiot wrote that, Chrono means time.
-snip-
Which idiot wrote that, Chrono means time.
It's a root word for time, but it does not mean time within itself, it can't stand by itself as a word. That would be like saying bi means two.
Although I didn't define it.
Semantics. He asked for definitions, the definition of Chrono is time.

Well then the definition should probably specify that it's a prefix.
Well then the definition should probably specify that it's a prefix.
Prefix! Oh, nice. Yeah, added.
Defined 5 words.

wail

volatile

scarab

delicious

spoil
I defined quite a bit. Put them in simple terms too.
Your English is flawless (at least gramatically).
Nerd.

Umm no, I defined scarab.
No offense, but a lot of these are rather basic words. I don't think you can become an English teacher without knowing some of these.

He might be young and is just trying to broaden his vocabulary, either way, good on him.
Umm no, I defined scarab.
I did too, something's goin' on.
[editline]05:41PM[/editline]
Sheesh, I'm glad I get vocab tests every week.
I did too, something's goin' on.
Note that your edit replaces the entire page so if some idiot's being slow and defining five words and presses submit then he probably deletes like 20 definitions
I had a message up top warning of that but it got deleted that way

Oh shit, really? Hmm, that's a problem.

Lol almost all mine are gone.
