Recently, dubstep imperial leader Skrillex soundtracked Disney’s epic celebration of video game culture, Wreck-It Ralph. Now, the man goes beyond mere scoring, creating his own video game entitled Skrillex Quest. Note: Make sure you’re well supplied with Mountain Dew and Spicy Doritos before reading on.
In the 8-bit-inspired game, developed by Jason Oda, players take the role of a young knight living in a video game cartridge that looks eerily similar to (or is a direct knock-off of) 1986′s The Legend of Zelda. With the world infected by dust-born glitches, the player must destroy these squared fiends, find the Dead Princess Keys, and free the world.
As one might expect from a video game involving Skrillex, there’s a bevy of loud, chaotic music (both “Summit” and “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” are used heavily) and potentially seizure-inducing visuals to overwhelm the viewer (y’know, like at a Skrillex show). So, what are you waiting for? Start your journey to save the digital world by clicking here.
For a less overhwelming merger of Skrillex and video games, watch this video of “Bangarang” set to footage from titles like Crysis 3 and Borderlands 2.
Blown TV speakers. Blown TV speakers everywhere.
Didn't he have one already?

I heard the prototype codename for it was called "shit".
Must be an alternative to water-boarding.
That game was fun, Even if you dont like skrillix
I still can't believe this acne scarred asshole with a shitty haircut and no talent gets more pussy in a week than i will in my entire life.
Besides this, is he even relevant anymore? It seems like the dubstep fad in the public has long blown over.

hes talented...in its own way maybe...
Even if that talent is shit, its still there, and somehow made it by his own to be a famous person.
You dont have that, no pussy for you
I still can't believe this acne scarred asshole with a shitty haircut and no talent gets more pussy in a week than i will in my entire life.
Maybe that's because he actually goes out and does something productive with his life

That Ice Burn must of hurt.
The sad thing is that it's actually good game :v:
Not that anyone here will ever accept that

Ouch. Go Max!

I wish.
It's still really popular here.
Hell, every Saturday during dinner at my dorm's dining hall, all they play is wubstep (how I refer to music that heavily uses bass wobbles, ala Skrillex, since that isn't technically dubstep). From 5PM to 7:30PM. Nothing but wubstep. Every Saturday.
no talent
OK then, go get Ableton Live and all the other software he uses and see how far you get
You can dislike him and his music all you want (believe me I don't much like his music either), but for fuck's sake don't go off about how he has "no talent" because that couldn't be further from the truth. Producing music in general is a skill that you have to develop and practice like any other, and assuming that any dumbass can just pick up a laptop and shit out a chart-topping song is really REALLY ignorant
I heard the prototype codename for it was called "shit".
No, that was the game name, but the ESRB made them change it.

Oh, that's right, I'm a Facepunch user.

because we all know what a good sign of productivity is
the number of women you put your penis in

Yup, has nothing to do with the hundreds of thousands of dollars he has.
Yup.
You're implying that if you do something productive with your time (which falls under the category of "fucking anything") that you will get massive amounts of pussy. That's not true and is pretty much just a retarded statement to make while trying for a quick attempt to zing a user. He gets pussy because he's famous and has loads of cash, don't kid yourself. Being a productive forum moderator isn't going to get you pussy.

Oh stop trying to reason with these people. I am not sure why, but they simply assume just because it is electronic music it is supposed to be easy and "done with a push of a button" and doesn't involve talent. I am sure if you asked them they would say music ended with the 70s or 80s. Not being a fan of certain kind of music and being ignorant seems to be the same thing for them.

That seems like an awful lot of assumptions to make.

I'm a Facepunch user and I got more pussy than you will ever get in your life time.
skirllerx is a true poet
possibly this generation's shakespeare
It's all the old 80s and late 90's kids bitchin about how his music is not real 'talent.' As a late 80s kid, I have to concur that his music requires less talent than previous musicians. So, yep, he sucks.

You're bragging on the internet. Kinda goes against the point your making.
Also, does this really need to be a Zelda knock-off?

One?
His music is bad. You have to be intoxicated to think otherwise.

sort of irrelevent, but that avatar is great, where did you get it from?

Well fortunately for Skrillex the club music scene is full of teens on drugs

Drunk "rebels" doing drugs.
Ready & ripe for being exploited.
