There's loads of free and awesome stuff on the internet; Linux, loads of MMO's, and a whole slew of GNU stuff. But it's not always easy to find the best stuff and hundreds of out fellow internet goers are paying for things that they could get for free if they knew where to look. So I'm going just going to leave this stuff here and see what happens.
Stumbleupon changed my life. It might be a surprise but I went years before finding this gem and have had many sleepless nights since I have.
Dwarf Fortress changed the way I look at gaming. I've been looking for an open source clone or the actual source for this game forever.
Sluggy freelance is the oldest webcomic I've ever found and with how often it updates I think it will keep me entertained for a long time.
My list isn't really that long, but I think a few people will be better for it.
There was a thread a while back for free stuff websites could mail to you. I got a Wisconsin cheese poster, and I sent in an application for a WWII poster from a museum, but I never got it.
And www.realmofthemadgod.com is a good game.
So is DF, I've been wanting an isometric version for a while. My friend and I might develop it one day, I don't know.
These are the things Google doesn't want you to know about! Using my simple, 12 step program you too can be rich and successful like me!
Title sounds like something Kevin Trudeau would write.
Your post changed the way I rate dumb.
Oh wait, no it didn't, I did it in the same way anyone else whose been on the internet for more than four seconds would.
I remember there was a (usefull) thread that had a list of websites offering free products like t-shirts, mousepads and stuff like that.
So I just tried StumbleUpon and the first thing I got was the wikipedia page for Billy Mays.

any chance of sharing the thread if thou remembers it?
I remember there being some pretty choice deals on j-list for free manga samples (something like the first 5 pages are sent to you, including the credits, talk about a waste). I swear there was a Groupon day last week for bad dragon but I'm honestly not sure how to use groupon, I don't think I can still redeem it.

Usually you pay for a groupon and in-return, it gives you further savings. Like for example, I work at
a Quizno's and the Group-on cost $7 but you get 2 Regular Sandwiches Free with it, which is like
around $12-$14. So we would punch in the $7.00 they paid for groupon, and then a groupon coupon
code would take off the remaining difference excluding tax.
We lost money on that deal. :/

Here it is.
I don't know if any of these offers are still available, since it's been over a year since.

I still have the free cane for the blind.
Along with a bunch of other shit I received weeks later. Some stuff took so long to arrive that I didn't remember what I ordered and it was like having a secret Santa. I have Boss cologne samples, Dove conditioner (get enough of it, and you won't even have to buy your own!), Wisconsin cheese guides, and more.

So do I. The cane just sits around, for now. Free Shit = Good Stories
Implying that dwarf fortress is a good game.
Looks like complete shite.
