I just found this gem of a TV show, which has begun airing regularly as of 3/22. It was created by Tim Kring, who has been working on this show ever since his previous, brilliant show Heroes was cancelled. The show stars a father, Martin Bohm (played by Kiefer Sutherland), dealing with his mute, autistic son, Jake Bohm, who he discovers is able to predict events, all by using numbers. Jake's use of number sequences, universal patterns, and how numbers affect the universe play a major part in his father trying to figure what he's trying to tell him, and what he needs to do. It's focused on the belief that everyone around the world is linked together and some lives are meant to all intersect. Think of the first season of Heroes, where everyone is led to meet up together through fate. I've just finished watching the first three episodes, which should be available on Fox's website (http://www.fox.com/touch/full-episodes/12641905/), I highly recommend you guys give the show a try and watch it! I know I've been comparing it to Heroes, but frankly I guess I'm just trying to get the point across that if you liked Heroes, odds are you'll like this.
The reason people compare it to Heroes is the elements of a global interaction and its made by the same guy. But thats where it ends, In my opinion, this show is amazing what it has showcased so far. So far there doesnt seem to be much of a plot, but its only the beginning, and from what [sp] is happening about room number 6 and the Japanese girls [/sp], im intrigued alot. Its heart filling, touching, and well brilliantly executed. I only ask for one thing. Can we [sp] keep the name "The invisible knight" for Martin? It suits so well.[/sp]

I do really like the show so far and how it's going, but I'm worried the rest of the season is going to have the same sort of set-up, where it basically goes [sp]Jake runs off, has a set of numbers he keeps repeating, his dad goes off finding what the numbers mean, finds out what they mean and saves someone/does something good.[/sp] Not that there's anything wrong with that, I've still really enjoyed everything so far, but I could see it getting bland if that's how the rest of the season goes. Haha, yeah, [sp]"The Invisible Knight" is an awesome name. I really liked that guy we met in the last episode, he's an older version of Jake and he isn't silent and actually gives some sort of hint as to what he's going on about[/sp]
Di... did you just call Heroes ...BRILLIANT? Haha, oh man. I mean, the first season was great up until the finale and then afterwards it was just a ball of shit rolling downhill.
Just been watching a few episodes of this, and it's pretty great so far. Though, how did the phone get from Baghdad to Japan? Anyway, it's nice to see Kiefer Sutherland in a role that doesn't portray him as a hard-ass action hero.

FYI a bonus episode aired yesterday.
FYI a bonus episode aired yesterday.
Did it take place in-between the last 2 episodes? Or did I miss/forget something? I think they were [sp]driving the firefighters car on their way to meet Emilia's mother[/sp], and that's when this episode happens?..

It can happen before, during or after the season. :v:
