For those who don't know the movie 2012. Check out the trailer first, but just yesterday a clip was released. It looks fucking awesome. If you disagree, then I don't even know what to say.
Cheap production has never looked so cheap.
I liked this film better when it was called The Day After Tomorrow.
Why didn't you link to it instead of some dumbass talking about movies?
The real video instead. I don't want to listen to a faggot in a suit thank you.
This movie is worth seeing just for the gorgeous CGI.
I liked this film better when it was called The Day After Tomorrow.
It's the same director.
thatsthejoke.jpg
Oh this is the IHC thing isn't it?
Meh. I thought there's a trailer but I was dissapointed.
i cant wait for it to come out.
The CGI looks outrageous.
The actual trailer. [editline]10:45PM[/editline] I like it, close to mass extinction films are always awesome, and these effects look awesome.
I liked this film better when it was called The Day After Tomorrow.
Well The Day After Tomorrow at least had a good message. An overexagerated messsage but still a message.
Looks like one of those sandbox games where you just go around shooting and killing everything  can wait tho.
The trailer left a bad impression on me. Starting off with "telephone > stop what you are doing right now" and being followed by an escape in a stretch limo where the scenes change between either directly in the limo or totally outside and finishing in the scene were they fly directly above the ground despite the fact that they already took off into the air, it looks like the director has a great sense for dramatic CGI and no sense of how people behave and how the world works at all. I know it's somehow sci-fi but it misses a certain... credibility. It looks like transformers with collapsing buildings instead of giant fighting robots.
The guy in the suit tried way too hard to sound like a news reporter. But overall 2012 the movie looks pretty good. I know it's gonna lack an amazing plot, but the effects make up for it.
I wish to see 90 minutes of shit blowing up. This seems like an appropriate film to see. I just hope it's not all large scale, I want to see some people getting taken out close up.
That was a fucking awesome limo.
Honestly... it looks like a big pile of crap.

Move! Move! Scat limo comin' through!

Looks like an awesome movie just beacuse of the effects, but I dislike the part when they take off in the plane and for some reason they don't rise, they keep flying very low for no reason other then being suicidal.
damn it has children they ruin everything look at mad max 3
Some of it looks like they're trying to be funny.
What did I just watch? This movie looks terrible. The only thing they put effort into was effects.
I don't really like the idea of this movie. I'd rather the public hardly know anything about 2012 so come 12,21,2012 only a small amount of people will be panicking. And Roland Emmerich is a unoriginal cunt.
The reason the plane flies so low is because of the ground itself lowering right under them. Air is generated from ground, that is why when you go higher you have less and less air around. And things fly by cutting or either being on "top" of the air. Basically what I'm saying is, when the ground goes down, so goes the air around it. The plane isn't even going fast enought to lift off. So that's why it's going so darned near the ground. Yeah, sorry about my logic and explaining, I'm doing this in really tired state so yeah. Oh what the hell, just give me boxes so I can finally build that box fortress that I have always dreamed of as a child.
I can never movies with hundreds and thousands of deaths. Maybe I'm a wimp, but there's something just a tad too disturbing about it. Mostly the screaming, methinks. Same thing goes for games, but only sometimes. Dunno why. :v:
