I didn't have any problem with the controls. They work fine aslong as you don't do panicky slashes like in most wii games.
The controls took some trial and error but when you found the correct way to do everything it was cake. Added little to the game though, I wish they made less filler stuff and more adventuring. Felt linear and a not so open world.
Zelda gets so insanely easy once you're used to the controls IMHO
I wish it had a difficualty setting. Like "Novice, normal, Hard, Hardcore, Master, Legend" and so on

If you beat the game you unlocked a hard mode.
