I know a few of our pro MSPainters have a couple of tutorials on creating clouds, gradients, people, and all the neat tricks you can do in paint. And I also know a lot of people here want to learn how to draw better in Paint.
So I thought we would need a thread that people can go to for info on the finer techniques of Paint.
So if anyone wouldn't mind posting their own tutorials I think some people would be happy.
-Rule 1: Save as .png
-If you don't like the aliasing of MS Paint, just draw on a larger scale and re-size it.
-If things like this annoy you:

(using the "fill with color" tool may result in certain spots being unfilled, which would make you have to manually fill all those nooks and crannies.)
A quick solution would be to fill the big parts of the image as well as the background, with colors other than the one found in those nooks like so:

Open a new instance of paint, adjust the canvas resolution according to image, and fill with black.

Copy the image

on to black canvas, and select the color in the nooks (in this case white) as your *secondary color.

*select the "pick color" tool, and right click on the color you wish to use as a secondary color.
Save as a PNG. Useful for filling in multiple small white spots without using the fill tool.

First one was better, but w/e.
Awesome, now in picture wars matches we shouldn't get crappy explosions! :D
Fire is pretty much the same but with less Skewing/Stretching. And you have to make it darker from top side only.

1. Draw a perfect circle (X x X [ex. 300 x 300, 750 x 750, etc.])
2. Divide the circle in half horizontally with the line tool; this line segment will be called h1.
3. Next, divide the lower half of the circle in half horizontally once again with the line tool; this line segment will be called h2. This line will also indicate where the eyes are to be placed.
4. Divide the circle in half vertically with the line tool; this line segment will be called V1.
5. Next, measure vertically from the middle of h2 to the middle of the top of the circle; this will be your first proportionate measurement, and will call this measurement p1.
6. Use the length from p1 to draw another line segment of similar length from the middle of h2 downward. This new line segment (p2), along with p1, will comprised the entirety of V1, and the bottom of this new line segment will indicate where the bottom of chin will be located.
7. Divide p2 in half horizontally, which will give you h3; this line will indicate the bottom of the nose.
8. From the middle of h3 to the bottom of V1 draw a new line segment, and we'll call it p3.
9. Divide p3 in half horizontally; this line segment will be called h4 and will indicate where the mouth is placed.
10. Draw a line straight down from both sides of the circle.
11. Draw a horizontal line segment at the bottom of V1 extending from the lines previously drawn in step 10.
12. From the two point at which h2 connects with the circle, draw two lines straight down to the horizontal line segment previously drawn in step 11.
13. Extend h4 to the lines previously drawn in step 12.
14. Connect the point at which h1 connects with the circle to the points at which h4 connects with the lines previously drawn in step 12.
15. Extend h2 to the lines drawn in step 14.
16. Divide the length of h2 by 5.
17. 2/5 and 3/5 across h2, draw lines extending straight down to the line segment drawn in step 11.
18. Draw lines from the points at which h4 connects with the lines previously drawn in step 12 to the points at which lines previously drawn in step 17. connects to the line segment drawn in step 11.
19. You have a rudimentary head shape that needs a little more redefining, rounding out, facial features.
The head is five eyes wide, and the eyes are one eye length apart from one another.
The mouth usually falls somewhere around the angle of the jaw (h4).

This is the one that NOBODY knows - You can make your own custom brushes in paint! Select the pencil tool and draw yourself a small textured brush in X color.
Here's what I did
I drew a line
Now, select that little image, turn transparency on, hold shift, and drag it around!
Cool, huh? You can draw ANYTHING
