Hey, I've browsed the forums since christmas or so and I was wondering if there was a faq page or something. Sorry if this page has already been created, the search bar is still down (Rate me Informative :v:).
Your best bet is to just lurk around. Look at the event log to see what gets people banned. Look at stickied rule threads dotted around in different areas. Act mature, be polite, you'll have a safe ride.
What is there to know? seriously? each sections rules are at the top. the entire forum is based off of "Common sense" instead of rules.

[URL]http://www.facepunch.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies[/URL] also, if you go to [URL]http://www.facepunch.com/profile.php?do=editoptions[/URL] then you can scroll to the bottom, set Message Editor Interface to "enhanced interface" and you'll get what resembles an email interface for every post you make. It has auto image tags, email tags, php and html tags, even indenting, lists and bulletins.
[QUOTE=John Marston;21594784]I meant like a smiley page or a page telling me all the types of tags.[/QUOTE] The smiley page moves around, and it's best to just google it. Tags are (pretty much) the same as any other vbulletin based board. Just quote someone who posted what you want to do, and do what they do if you can't figure something out.
[QUOTE=ProboardslolV2;21594874]:words:[/QUOTE] Thanks
There is an FAQ page, but it's nothing more than a smiley list. Also, I cannot ever find the link.
[QUOTE=John Marston;21595009]Thanks[/QUOTE] Also, there are a few emotes not on the list (if memory serves) like :ohdear: and others. If you ever come across a new emote, just mouse over it and in the alt-text it should have the text you need to put between two :'s.
We had a rules list but gayry removed it. :frown:
Emote list: [url]http://facepunch.com/misc.php[/url] Old rules list can be found in the mpping section sticky, pretty good guidelines, but above all, common sense.
