Kim Jong Nam was attacked by two unidentified women who stabbed him with “poisoned needles” at a Malaysian airport before fleeing, according to Cable TV broadcaster TV Chosun. Malaysian police reportedly suspect Jong Nam was targeted by North Korea.
What, was he the more handsome brother?
Guess he got on the wrong side of his brother.
I wonder if poison or having artillery dropped on you is worse.

Poison is worse. Artillery (most likely) kills you instantly.

Poison is always worse. Many of them either work by, or have a secondary effect of paralyzation so you end up suffocating and feel it all the way. Not mentioning the muscle cramps and intense pain.

He's probably eliminating anyone who could take his position if he's killed.
Wait, this was the outcast brother living a playboy live in Macau?
Wait, this was the outcast brother living a playboy live in Macau?
Yep.
I want more details on the attack, I mean aren't airports supposed to have decent security and how did two women get out of there after stabbing someone with a hypodermic needle with enough witnesses to confirm that is what happened?
Was there even much point if this guy was outcast?
You guys can thank me later

I don't think it said where in the airport he was, coulda been baggage claim for all we know.
I'm never sure about these stories anymore. South Korea likes to make these claims but then later the person is shown alive. I just don't know man

Mhmm. Arrested with a fake Dominican passport. lol
nice
This man sacrificed reign over a country for a trip to Disney. True hero
A few reasons that this could've been done. Either Un's lost control and is trying to kill off all his relatives to prevent an already-occurring military coup from ousting him and installing them as a figurehead, or outsider elements eliminated him to strong-arm the military leadership and to prevent them from having alternative options. Or Un just did it to be a dick, as seems to be the trend.
The idiots could've used Il's death to turn the entire country around and get away with a get-out-of-war-crimes-free pass. They just keep failing. It's a real shame.
I think this should serve as a lesson, though. No matter how much of a joke they may seem like. No matter how much of a failed state they are teetering on the brink of implosion or global invasion. North Korea has a capable human intelligence network. Too bad they have these devoted and talented people out assassinating and kidnapping people instead of running a tourism board for a new and improved North Korea.
Was there even much point if this guy was outcast?
Yes.
North Korea's personality cult does not stop at just one Kim. It's for the entire family, like a monarchy. North Korea would put this outcast in place of leadership (albeit as a puppet no doubt) rather than any other person in the state.

Relatable tbh.

I don't think anyone would pick leader of North Korea over Disney trip. Even if they didn't like Disney.

Keeps others from picking the playboy path

He named one of his sons Kim Han-sol. Han Solo.

The police confirmed the identity about 4 hours ago from the time of my posting. It was dubious at first because he had been traveling with a passport named under "Kim Chol" and when he died the cops sent a notice to the embassy informing a Kim Chol has died.
The NK Embassy is trying to claim the body but they're refusing to give it until post mortem is completed.

He was openly criticising his brothers leadership skills along how badly the country is run in general. It's probably a pride/honour thing.
