East Coast snow storm version 2 - General

Let's start off by recapping last snow storm the East Coast had. On the 19th of December I posted a thread about one of the largest snow storms in Maryland history: about 18 inches where I was. This time it's different. It's expected to be 24 to 30 inches of snow with winds of up to 40 to 50 mph on Saturday. This is all caused by the rain storm that was down south coming up here. Remember, 1 inch of rain is about 10 inches of snow. Like I said last time, I live in the DC area. This sort of thing never happens here, so for all of you who think this is a pussy amount of snow, well consider how much it is to us and let us have our moment. It's so much for us in fact that our Governor has signed it off as a Declaration of Emergency. I will post some pictures tomorrow because it's too dark at the moment to see anything. Snowing in Ohio, though it's been mostly sleet rather than snow so far.

NYC is expecting between three and five inches but we'll see how it goes :ohdear:
