I recently started playing burnout 3 again and it blows my mind a similar game hasn't been made since
Jesus, those particle effects are off-chart
For a game entirely about crashing cars, it sure doesn't really try when it comes to damage.
The cool part about the burnout one was it was real streets and real looking locations, you mess the location up essentially; not just the cars. If those "test chambers" are going to be the maps it might not hold that same fire.
It needs something more interesting than just textures of bent metal, it feels like those crashes have no weight

It would be better if it was like BeamNG.drive but with more exaggerated destruction. As is, this is pretty whack.
A few of the old burnout devs split off from EA to make this and dangerous golf. I'm really hoping they make a full fledged burnout-esque game.

You need a computer from the future to run this many cars in BeamNG.
The Wreckfest engine would be more suitable for something like this.

I'm so upset that Paradise was the last. I'm just hoping that one day, a good sequel comes out.

From what I heard, it's about 25 levels and it's only crashes. In one environment. With one car.
I remember in Burnout 2 It would occasionally glitch out and send my car flying in the air endlessly.
I hope I can recreate that here.
Fucking Amazing, hopefully the soundtrack in game will include this but they missed an opportunity to use

I mean, if it's super duper cheap like 5 bucks I might get it. Otherwise, it seems like it would get old fast.
Its a good start, but it looks more like a tech demo than an actual proper game. Although it is borderline lawsuit levels of similar which is funny.
Its been nearly 10 years since Paradise, and nobody has really given a serious attempt at a game similar to Burnout as far as I know. I would be fine if it did the same thing as 3, but with better graphics and new tracks. It feels like there is an entire void for a game that let's you crash but focuses on racing.
