At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone, as well as any mention of climate change or global warming. It’s customary for www.whitehouse.gov to flip over to the new administration exactly at noon, but the only mention of climate on President Trump’s new website is under his “America First Energy Plan” page, in which he vows to destroy President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, which is a government-wide plan to reduce carbon emissions and address climate change. To reiterate: It is normal that the site is completely new; it is notable that climate change is not mentioned on any one of Trump's new pages. “President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule,” the site says. A search of the website found no mention of "global warming," and the only mentions of "climate change" were archived pages that, after clicking on the links, led to scrubbed pages.
jesus fucking christ
that fucking fast?
God help us all
Wow....He has such lack of shit to give about the environment it's astonishing.
They're eager to fuck things up it seems.
drain the swamp by building a wall around it and flooding it now you just have a cesspool
Doesn't really surprise me, this is just disappointing.

How could you possibly defend this
How could you possibly defend this
None of the usual suspects will show up here, one could hope no one will defend it but who knows.
Make America Late Again
I don't understand how people say protesting this is the same as protesting Obama?? Trump is an objective threat to humanity, Obama was not.
It's still available: https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/sites/default/files/image/president27sclimateactionplan.pdf It's probably transitioning the pages from Obama to Trump still, so we'll have to wait and see.
Since it was Obama's (as in, it was basically a pro-obama piece that belonged to obama) it was wiped. I think that even if Clinton was in charge it would've been wiped The thing people should be worrying about is ofc his policies and this:
Scientists I’ve spoken to who are archiving websites say they expect scientific data on the NASA, NOAA, Department of Energy, and EPA websites to be neglected or deleted eventually. They say they don’t expect agency sites to be updated immediately, but expect it to play out over the course of months. This sort of low-key data destruction might not be the type of censorship people typically think about, but scientists are treating it as such.
ALWAYS have a legitimate reason to criticize Trump. If there is one flaw in your argument, the alt-right will start creating waterfalls of tears and screaming "THOSE MEAN MEAN LIBERALS!"
From the whitehouse.gov
The Trump Administration will embrace the shale oil and gas revolution to bring jobs and prosperity to millions of Americans. We must take advantage of the estimated $50 trillion in untapped shale, oil, and natural gas reserves, especially those on federal lands that the American people own.
Fuck you Trump. [editline]20th January 2017[/editline]
Lastly, our need for energy must go hand-in-hand with responsible stewardship of the environment. Protecting clean air and clean water, conserving our natural habitats, and preserving our natural reserves and resources will remain a high priority. President Trump will refocus the EPA on its essential mission of protecting our air and water.
At least there's this... hopefully.
From the whitehouse.gov Fuck you Trump. [editline]20th January 2017[/editline] At least there's this... hopefully.
Clean coal
I don't even think millions of jobs exist in the shale oil and natural gas fields even if you completely deregulated them.
We are seeing America Reborn. May Trump reign.
We are seeing America Reborn. May Trump reign.
Like a shitty phoenix, we rise from the asses.
It was deleted because it was all part of Obama's actions, and will probably be at obamawhitehouse.gov instead. The new website is about the current administration, and it will only have content relating to the current administration with regards to policy and federal actions. There was no specific targeting of neither climate change nor LGBT rights.
hope everyone knows how to swim
and the purge begins, make anerica uninhabitable again!
I don't even think millions of jobs exist in the shale oil and natural gas fields even if you completely deregulated them.
There'd be millions of jobs, but in the same way digging the Panama Canal was a "job". Only severance you get is a promise they'll put a helmet on your grave marker.
Since it was Obama's (as in, it was basically a pro-obama piece that belonged to obama) it was wiped. I think that even if Clinton was in charge it would've been wiped.
Yeah, I think people are entering a panicked frenzy a bit preemptively here.
ALWAYS have a legitimate reason to criticize Trump. If there is one flaw in your argument, the alt-right will start creating waterfalls of tears and screaming "THOSE MEAN MEAN LIBERALS!"
Because they are sick and tired of being called racists and other emotional guilt trips designed to demand contrition, and for good reason. When that is all that they've been dealt for the past 50 years, what do you really expect? Anything that isn't logically perfect will be ridiculed because a large group of people fundamentally distrust the left. They've been lied to and shit on for decades. Why would they trust the left after the way they have been treated? Want to know why gun debates always turn into a thermonuclear flame war? This is why. The incremental bullshit, lies, and half truths. Now that is coming to a head everywhere. Antagonism doesn't work anymore. Even the perception of being misleading is going to be considered "just another libtard lie", and treated as a hostile and active threat because that is literally what has been happening for years. It's impossible to distinguish between someone just being naive/misguided/stupid, and someone trying to mask their agenda under "common sense" incremental policies. As a result of this insidious behavior, everything is suspicious to the right. The left has pissed away every last iota of good faith the alt right has had by systematically abusing it for decades. Bitching about them having enough and refusing to fall in line is only going to make that problem worse. Especially now that they have proven their silent majority status and delivered the fuck you of fuck yous with this election. Now they know that they have that power, when before many didn't believe, and didn't bother. They've won, and if the Democratic party wishes to ever be relevant again, they need to stop treating the right like uber-privileged inferiors that need things spelled out like children who just don't know what's good for them.
I don't even think millions of jobs exist in the shale oil and natural gas fields even if you completely deregulated them.
there would be millions more green energy MANUFACTURING jobs if we didn't try to squash them
We are all going to die
