Godspeed You! Black Emperor - epic prog-rock band - making a comeback!

This is both an announcement and an inquiry to fans of Godspeed; I'm sure there are some in the music subforum.
Godspeed recently (I don't know when) announced that they were coming out of their long-term Hiatus. To make more awesome music. Fuck yeah.
Their announcement apparently came in the form of a website, which just contains the following note:

(image was last modified on Wednesday, so this announcement could be quite new?)
I am wondering who's already heard about this? Anyone got any further details?
I am also telling GYBE fans who -haven't- heard about it, to be hopeful :D they're going to do nine shows in America and "a handful" here in the UK. They've already announced their presence in a UK festival.
Apologies for lack of content, considering this is the music subforum. I could write at huge length about GYBE, but Wikipedia does that better than I, and copy-pasta'ing their Wiki article would be of no use to anyone. (PS: the wiki article also confirms they're playing at the UK festival 'All tomorrows parties', but nothing else...)
yay. more canadian music.
Even though I enjoyed Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band, I great welcome Godspeed back into my heart.
Good to hear this!
I live not far from East Hastings.
I actually know what the song is about :v:
They make very good atmospheric music.

It's the* shithole area of Vancouver. It's as the Bronx is to New York.
EG, the average scene:

No, Canadians are less prone to shooting each other for no reason. It's just dirt poor and a shithole all around.
Just lots of homeless people, druggies, hookers, and dilapidated buildings.
A remastered version of All Lights Fucked on the Hairy Amp Drooling would be amazing.

This is true. They are Post-Rock.
I love this band, Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls, Dead Flag Blues, and East Hastings are my favorite songs by them, but Motherfucker Redeemer is good too

I meant post- but I was writing the OP in a sleep-deprived state, so shh.
Looking forward to a new album Godspeed(o)!
One of my favourites, wouldn't call them prog however. Got Lift Your Skinny Fists on vinyl the other day.
Around 5 minutes into Antennas to Heaven is the best sound I have ever heard.
I just got into these guys a few weeks ago. Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven is a beautiful album.
I really, really need to get more into these guys. What I've listened to is stunningly awesome
I listened to Lift Yr Skinny Fists once and I didn't like it.

Silver Mt. Zion was good up until their most recent album.. Efrim puts way too much emphasis into his vocals now which just sounds bad because he's a weak singer.. the weak singing sounded okay when it was actually weak and not forced

Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada is probably the best introduction

listen to the pre-album release live versions of the songs (particularly blind blind blind) if you don't like the album version.
