Pulp Fiction (1994) is an American crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino, who cowrote its screenplay with Roger Avary. The film is known for its rich, eclectic dialogue, ironic mix of humor and violence, nonlinear storyline, and host of cinematic allusions and pop culture references. The film was nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture; Tarantino and Avary won for Best Original Screenplay. It was also awarded the Palme d'Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival. A major critical and commercial success, it revitalized the career of its leading man, John Travolta, who received an Academy Award nomination, as did costars Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman.

The plot, in keeping with most of Tarantino's other works, is presented out of chronological sequence.
I can't think of anything to say about this movie other than that it's incredibly awesome.
It starts out slow and as you progress it all comes together.
Laughed my ass off at the scene where Vincent shoots Marvin in the head, then I looked around the theater awkwardly once I realized I was the only one laughing at it.

Royale With Cheese.
They just had to add that line to From Paris With Love.
Fantastic movie, Pulp Fiction is one of my all time favorites.
Fantastic film. There's some really great scenes in this.
ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT
Awesome movie.
Going to watch this now. Never seen it before.
My favorite movie. Absolutely brilliant.
There's quite alot of hidden quirks in this film, I read somewhere that John and Samual's characters are some sort of angels, Marcellis sold his soul to the devil to become the most powerfull man in the world and thought that he was so powerfull that he could get his soul back, so he hired John and Samual to steal it back from them, that's what was glowing in the Breif case and that's why Marcellis has a plaster on the back of his neck (where his soul was taken out from). Plus the divine intervention in the breakfast scene, even if it sounds bullshit, it makes sence.
Great film. The Wolf was just a perfect character, I think he was the funniest guy in the film.

Same here. Funniest scene ever.
It is said all Tarantino movies are connected in some way. Most people believe that inside the briefcase, there were the diamonds from Reservoir Dogs. There are some more connections, but I can't really remember them.
They made fun of us Dutch in this movie :(

Vincent: You know what they put on French fries in Holland instead of ketchup?
Jules: What?
Vincent: Mayonnaise.
Jules: Goddamn.
Vincent: I've seen 'em do it, man. They fucking drown 'em in that shit.

I think you take it too literally.
The peak of Quentin's career I might add.
I remember watching this in college. Took a date to watch it, and she was probably the most pure angel you ever met. I think she was sick after watching the film...

There's no need to take offense from that.
It's a good thing that we have Mayo on chips!

In interviews Quentin has said that his films occupy a shared universe, where films like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are the 'real world' but their characters would probably go to the cinema to see films like Kill Bill and Death Proof
Pulp Fiction is the greatest movie ever made
Avatar for the win <---
One of THE greatest films ever.
also Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction is supposed to be Vic Vegas brother (from Reservoir Dogs) Tarantino wanted to make a movie based on those two but the idea was scrapped because Madsen and Travolta are to old :(
All the clocks in Pulp Fiction are set at 4:20. :350:
I really want to watch this but I've never gotten around to it. Anyone know if I can watch it on Megavideo or something?
dude this shit is worth buying/renting
Watching it right now :fuckyou:
The best piece of dialogue in the film:
Jules: What does Marcellus Wallace look like?
Brett: What?
Jules: What country you from?
Brett: What?
Jules: What ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in What?
Brett: What?
Jules: ENGLISH, MOTHERFUCKER! DO-YOU-SPEAK-IT?
Brett: Yes!
Jules: Then you know what I'm saying!
Brett: Yes!
Jules: Describe what Marcellus Wallace looks like!
Brett: What, I-?
Jules: [pointing his gun] Say what again. SAY WHAT AGAIN. I dare you, I double dare you, motherfucker. Say what one more goddamn time.
Brett: He's b-b-black...
Jules: Go on.
Brett: He's bald...
Jules: Does he look like a bitch?
Brett: What?
[Jules shoots Brett in shoulder]
Jules: DOES HE LOOK LIKE A BITCH?
Brett: No!
Jules: Then why you try to fuck him like a bitch, Brett?
Brett: I didn't.
Jules: Yes you did. Yes you did, Brett. You tried to fuck him. And Marcellus Wallace don't like to be fucked by anybody, except Mrs. Wallace.
Best movie ever.

Don't even need to look that up. I can visualize that myself. Was awesome.
