Don't know if anyone else on FP is experiencing this, but we are having some crazy flooding in Tennessee. It's not really that we're flooding, which we're used to, it's that there is so much and it's flooding places that I've never seen it flood before, like the Interstate.
I will try to get some pictures updated soon, but currently my basement has flooded (Which I got under control), a friend of mine had part of his roof blown off and many trees knocked down on top of all the water, my brother has tons of trees down and the creek down below his house looks like a huge river.
There's actually been houses and cars and stuff floating down the interstate like a river, it's insane.
UPDATE
We now have 4 dead in Hickman alone.
I live not too far from Nashville, haven't been outside so I don't know how bad it is around here. Hoping it's not too bad. There's a Nissan plant not even half a mile from my house.
Come out safe, man. You're always welcome up north. (Not at my home, though. You crazy?)
We had pretty bad flooding last year (Iowa). Got lucky this year even though we had so much snow
my aunt and uncle live in Tennessee and I haven't heard from them lately
:ohdear:
The Knoxville area seems to be unaffected. Hope things go well with you though.
Not the best quality, But this was my front yard. :saddowns:
Don't you guys have loads of mother fucking dams to stop flooding?
We have loads of everything to stop it. Everything is overflowing now.
Not much going on at Grainger county. Though we are scheduled for a good amount of storms in the next few days.
I was camping when this happened. not fun at ALL
[editline]02:28PM[/editline]
yeah well TVA does nothing around here anymore
[editline]02:29PM[/editline]
also, east, west, or middle. im assuming east
Middle Tennessee and parts of western Tennessee are getting the worst of it. Also, TVA does a lot, pay attention more.
I'm in Tennessee in Sumner county. :buddy:

They have a boat in that last picture.
i live in east TN and we're supposed to get hit by all that tonight and tomorrow
Memphis here, music fest was cancelled because of the rain and flooding. :frown:
That's a fairly big thing for us actually. Music(Mud) Fest always gets rained out, but never cancelled because of it.
People are dying from wearing their pants above their ankles? That's crazy!
Less Rednecks.

UPDATE
We now have one confirmed death in my county (Hickman), bringing the total confirmed in Tennessee to 8. The water level at Duck River Bridge in my county is 40ft right now.
Clarksville here, in montgomery county. They closed schools for tomorrow it's so bad.
my gpu rma is in memphis :|
That's scary shit man I live in NW GA
Don't flood the forums... Ha.... Get it??
Hopefully this doesn't have any effect in Jack Daniels products :(
Shit, that's some nasty flooding. The only big flooding problem I've seen was the remnants of hurricane Ivan. That took some large sections of asphalt completely off and away from the road. Lucky we have hills in PA I guess.

There's some asphalt coming off down here.
I live in Sumner County, as well. Hendersonville. I went to Brentwood yesterday and half the roads were flooded and a section on the Northbound side of I-60 was flooded near the exit to Coolsprings mall.
Close to where I live Gallatin Road is flooded right next to Drake's Creek Park which is right by Old Hickory Lake. I don't have any pictures.
I'm fairly lucky I guess since there really is no major flooding in my neighborhood or the surrounding area for a few miles. Just some new backyard mini pools.
Build a boat, and take two of every animal.
I just realized that K-Mart in DemonDog's picture is in Goodlettsville. Not too far from where I live currently and I lived by that K-Mart years ago.
It got pretty bad over here. As Angus said, they cancelled Musicfest. Here in Tipton County, lots of houses suffered flood damage. They even evacuated a prison because it was flooding.
Our neighbor's driveway was carried away by the floods, but thankfully our house is on a hill, so we didn't get much damage. Whole sections of roads have been washed away, and they closed the local schools for monday.
I still have to drive 45 minutes to the U of M tomorrow to take Sociology final, though. Fucking 8am exams.
I think your guys storms are about to affect the other lower-southeast states. South Carolina is supposed to get tons of thunderstorms and torrential rain all week
