Korn is just nu metal/hard rock. everyone hates them for being an angsty band that created a rather shit music scene, but I grew up with them and still hold some childhood love for them. I can accept they suck, but they have their moments of brilliance to me.

What you mean with suck? Maybe followers suck but not korn itself, did you listen to their first album? Pure emotions on vocals part, I think it's pretty great and "was" unusual that time, he even cried on the song daddy because he got sexually abused, korn itself said that when they first got called "nu-metal" they said that it's just some shit media came up with and they aren't happy to be called nu-metal.
And the new album is pretty great! Comes very near to their roots and again emotions and on one song he is walking out of the room crying because something between his wife and him, I think it's pretty great :smile:

Sorry, I meant in my opinion and in anyone's that isn't in their nu-metal phase, Korn is pretty bad to be honest.
Korn has some songs that are actually pretty good, but they have far too many that suck for them to be considered a good band. That being said 'Take a Look in the Mirror' was a great album, but they only have like 3 songs that aren't on that album that I like. And their newest album is complete shit.
